Pearl Izumi Delivers on Quality Once Again.
I've been a Pearl Izumi customer for decades. So of course I considered their gloves when making a new purchase. I've owned several P.I. pairs in the past. In particular, I'd been getting hand numbness as my old, worn-out gloves have lost their cushion (the old gloves are not Pearl Izumi produced). So I did a ton of research and reading of product reviews, and I decided to once again return to the Pearl Izumi product line. I chose the gloves for their padding to help quell the hand and finger numbness on long rides. Pearl Izumi knows that it's not just the padding that's important, but it's the PLACEMENT of the padding to allow the critical nerve in the palm to be un-pressured. Once again, Pearl Izumi delivers with a perfect design. Another benefit of this glove design are the flaps on strategic fingers to aid in the removel of the gloves at the end of the ride. After such a long hiatus (having purchased another manufacturer's glove on my last several purchases), I was a bit surprised at the new design of a couple strategically placed "flaps" on some of the fingers to aid in the removal of the gloves at the end of the ride. I didn't think they'd be effective, but in fact, they're great, and the placement is completely unobtrusive. Once again, a new design feature (well, new to me anyway) that works. Highly recommended. And to nay-sayers, I'll admit: No, the numbness isn't stopped completely once the ride has become officially a "long ride" (over three hours, for example), but these gloves do the best job of reducing numbness of all the gloves in the marketplace.

They're decent - but a bit too expensive
These gloves are very comfortable and immediately conform to your hands while gripping the handlebars. The material and construction are first rate. They're great looking - no complaints there. For the money, they should include the hoops (you see even on cheaper gloves) to quickly pull them off your hands.

basic gloves
I bought them for the price. GREAT price. I WANTED the gloves so that my hands would stop losing circulation.11 minutes into my ride, same problem. I would say they are BASIC, great gloves, the stitching is strong, color is great, sun protection is fantastic. I will be buying another pair, from a different company--one that has MORE cushioning for the palm. I would give the palm cushion a "C-D" rating-- as it is just as BASIC as it gets. I got what I paid for, so that's fine. I will have to spend more money, that is what I learned.

I like these
I like these gloves. I had a bad crash earlier this year and the gloves were destroyed, but the gloves ripped apart in a way that prevented my hands from being ripped apart as I slid across the cement. The gloves saved my hands that day.Prior to that they had padding in the right spots that really worked to take away the numbness form riding.I bought a pair to replace the ones I lost in the crash. Same model. Same size. And they didn't fit. They felt small. No idea if these were a one off error or a factory irregular. But the XL's I got in this listing were smaller than the XL's previous had from REI.

These gloves help alleviate vibrations and survived a crash onto rough pavement!!!!
I bought these gloves to hopefully give my wrists a break from the rough roads I ride each day. The gloves fit well, feel great and worked extremely well to alleviate road vibrations at the handlebars. Last week I was going around a corner a bit too fast when my bicycle slid out from beneath me on a slick patch and I did a swan dive onto the pavement, landing solidly on both hands. These gloves took up most of the shock and saved my palms from getting shredded by road rash, although I ended up getting 6 stitches in my right forearm. The gloves held up beyond my wildest expectations and I will soon buy another pair!!

Might be better, definitely not worse than the others
I have major issues with hand numbness while riding. I typically do 30-40 miles every other day, and these were reviewed as a definite "cure" for numbness. I don't think they are any better or worse than my other gel gloves. I have pretty big paws, and the large size fits quite well. The lack pull loops which seem to be ubiquitous on every other riding glove, making them more difficult to remove after a long ride.

Nice glove so far!
I purchased these for the Tour de Troit 2019 ride. I've read good things about these gloves. I decided to get the screaming yellow just for visibility. Now, the trick is......go to Pearl iZumi website and measure your hand to get your size. This is what I did and didnt have any issue with fit. In fact I purchased large. I'm almost a extra large in the hand dept. So after receiving them I tried them on and feel good. The overall quality seems to be good. So far I have no complaints and I only gave 4 stars due to I haven't ridden with them yet.

Not thrilled
I'm a casual cyclist nowadays: with pins and needles kicking in in my hands after maybe 20 minutes on the bike and pain after about 40, my enjoyment has been much curtailed. I've tried lots of different cycling gloves, and while they helped, my hands were getting worse. So after a lot of reading around and seeing these gloves consistently recommended for carpal tunnel syndrome sufferers who ride bikes, I paid up. They're not cheap. And they don't work. Absolutely no difference between these and some cheapos I bought 2 years ago. Sure, they look different, but the padding is thinner and harder, and it's the padding I need, not the logo. Disappointed.

Good cycling gloveS
Time will tell how durable they are, but theses pearl izumi gloves are true to size and comfortable to wear. I use them for road cycling (racing bike), and the gel padding in particular is a good thickness to absorb vibration. The Velcro cuff is good for adjusting the glove fit. There have been some comments about the quality of stitching but at present it seems fine (I take care in removing the gloves, which fit snuggly around the fingers, to avoid straining the gloves).

Good padding in the right places.
Been a great help to my ulnar nerve and carpal tunnel condition and just wish I got them earlier along with a decent pair of handlebar grip on my new bike.

Disappointed.
Perhaps I expected more because of the name, but they are very thin and the padding is ineffective.
