Simms is THE best. Their gear will last.
I've been fishing my whole life & been an addicted fly-fisherman for almost 30 years. This year I've already spent over 90 days on the water! I abuse my gear, which is always in my car and have learned, that no one makes their gear to last like Simms does. I literally wore out the Vibram sole on my last pair of Simms wading boots after 2 seasons & just bought these & have already tested them out. A+. My waders, my wading boots, my vest & my wading staff are all Simms. There is no substitute, I'm thinking they should send me gear to test at this point, because I spend as much time on the water as only some guides do...

These are ok, but lightweight construction
They seem to run a little large, and the construction is nowhere near as good as the guide series. They seem to be made of significantly lower quality materials. They are significantly cheaper, so I should not be surprised. I don’t think these will last very long but they fit well and I fished them about five times now and they are holding together. 11/15 update: After 10+ outings they are still holding up, and I even put studs in them to improve grip. Even had some 4mile days and the quality seems decent.

Falling Apart After 3 Minths
Purchased in May 2021, and the sole isSeparating after 3 months of use. Other than falling apart, I like them. The boot fits great and offers very comfortable support. I’ve purchased less expensive boots that lasted several years. At $170, I’m disappointed.

First Pair And Happy!
This is my first pair of wading boots. A fly fishing friend recommended them. I did my research and came back to these. I ordered size elevens and use the wading socks by Simms. Perfect fit for me. I actually wear 10 1/2 shoes but always used size eleven when it come to boots. This allows for heavier, thicker socks. I've used them twice thus far, so as far as longevity, I can't give a definitive answer. They do seem well made though. Simms has a good reputation. Hope this helps you decide!

Great Fit and Function
I had a pair of felt soled boots but wanted to get a rubber soled pair for where felt is not ideal as well as to make my waders more versatile for duck hunting in addition to flyfishing. The fit according to Simms chart is spot on. the boots look good and are fairly light. I did find out that my waders are getting a little tight. been working on cutting weight so that should help.

Go same size or up 1/2
Perfectly good boots, no issue with the construction or quality. I did read a review saying the boots run larger, does not seem to be the case for me. I wish I had gotten the same size I regularly wear. With socks and stocking feet the boots are fine to walk around in but as soon as I start wading in waist deep, the compression is really noticeable and uncomfortable after a few hours. Not going to blame the product for my mistake.

Comfortable, perfect size, great tread, and amazingly dry feeling!
My inner cynic didn't think I'd be satisfied with this purchase. My inner spendthrift didn't want to pay anything more than the worthless used chukkas I fished in all spring and summer, sloshing my way around trout streams and pathways. I wear a size 14 and the Simms wading boots are absolutely perfect for me and my neoprene stockingfoot waders. These boots have everything I looked for, very high ankle support, high grip tread which came in use on the steep banks to the local rivers, easy up laces, and surprising dry time. Very high quality all around. If you're on the fence about these, don't be. Very happy and satisfied.

Great Boots!
I tested them in three streams in one day, and was very happy. Although size ran slightly larger, even with waders, they were still comfortable. We had to walk trails, climb logs, and walk through deep mud at times. No problem!
