Seller please help (updated)
I am writing this review to get in contact with the seller. For some reason Amazon is not giving me the option to contact the seller through my orders page. have had the lights for around a year now (ordered the 12 pack of 8ft t8 type) and have worked great but over the past few months the lights have been failing and around 5 to 6 have either they have completely stopped working, half the leds stop working in the bulb or half the leds in a bulb flicker on and off very fast. I am an electrian and have checked the fixtures these bulbs are in, its not the wiring, its not the fixtures, its clears at this point they are not that great of quality and become defective rather quickly. Led lights are advertised to save money on electricity costs and suppose to last for years, that is not the case with these lights.Update (2022)The company seen the review and shipped me replacement bulbs free of charge. Very happy with their customer service. Hopefully this was just a fluke with the first batch of lights and we get more life out of these replacements.

Great lights
These lights are just perfect for my installation. I put them in a garage / work area, so the cold blue light works great in that environment. Super easy to bypass the ballast and get these bulbs in. I've got a lot of them now (>20) and they all worked perfectly out of the box.

Wonderful lighting upgrade
I have been using regular 8 foot fluorescent tubes in my basement workshop. Lately the light output of these old style tubes was decreasing. Also the color of the light output was undesireable . The light was either a blue tint or a tan tint. I think this was the difference between a cool white and a warm white tube. Also the life of the old style tubes and ballasts was not good. I found these new style LED tubes and decided to try them. The conversion to bypass the original ballast was quick and easy. The LED tubes I selected were the K5000 color. These produce a bright WHITE light. This color was recommended as best for me as it does not distort the colors of the projects I am working on. Another good feature of these LED tubes is that the light is somewhat "directional", meaning that I can rotate the tubes to aim the light to better illuminate the specific work area that I am using. Another good feature of these LED tubes is that they consume much less electricity in operation. I am using 28, 8 foot tubes in my shop. The total amount of electricity used will be greatly reduced. I feel that with the better light quality, longer tube life and reduced electricity use that these tubes are a real bargain. I will be using these tubes exclusively from now on. Thanks for a great product at a good price with quick delivery. Billk

Was easy to install
These are quite easy to put in. The instructions were as complete as they needed to be since you just shut the power off, cut the wires to the ballast, then link the wire (wires in my case because I have two tubes in one fixture) to the black on one end, and the other wire on the other end to the white. Didn't seem to matter which end was hot and which end was neutral. The ground just remains screwed to the metal of the fixture. I also didn't worry about which wire I used from each tombstone (there are two protruding and I just capped off the one not used on each). I used the wire nuts that were there but one should probably replace them. Even going very slowly it took about 15 minutes from start to finish, much easier than putting up new fixtures. Light output is much better than the fluorescents they replaced. The only minor flaw I could see was that they may droop slightly because of the 8ft span. If you have tight clearances, you may have to support the middle of the tube. For example, my fixture hangs very low and there is a cupboard door that cleared the old tubes by about a 1/4 inch. One of these bowed down slightly and it would have brushed one tube slightly. I can't see that they get hot enough not to just put a tie wrap around them to keep them straight. I didn't, it wasn't significant enough to worry about. It is just that glass is far stiffer than plastic over that long span. I'm tickled with how they went in and how the room looks now.

Bit of shipping issue and these are BRIGHT!!
The first box (of 4) shipped did not appear to have damage. It is strong square cardboard shipping tube, however it apparently took a drop on one end that pushed all of the contacts back into the tube making them unuseable. Amazon took them back without issue and the dealer response was quick. I had them replaced and this time the box did have some flex damage, so I took a video, and went ahead and used them. One had a slight amount of damage but they all worked. And this delivery had thimbles on the end protecting the contacts so not sure why the other did not.I am replacing flourescent in a low ceiling basement and these are very bright, but I wanted the directional nature from the dual row LEDs. So these are great because I can direct one tube to each side and cover a much wider area. I can go almost anywhere in the basement with only one row of fixtures lit. When I turn on both rows of fixtures I am sure neighbors think I am using them for grow lights and a side hobby :-)Easy to install, just removed ballast and wired the ends direct. Simple change over and bright. I have ordered some clips for support in the middle, hasn't been an issue so far, but think it best for long term.
