Perfect for off hand
Nice quality and looks good on. I was able to tighten it down and secure the scabbard to allow a smooth draw and easy return.

An affoardable yet sturdy accesory
If you are looking for something to use for cosplay or possibly even to carry a real, heavy weapon, this thing might be a deal. Its cheap as far as leather accessories go, but its actually designed well and doesnt do that stupid flipping-outwards thing other sword frogs do.when it came in, i was worried about cheap leather or foam being used, but after actually holding the thing and looking closely, its actually surprisingly good. the leather is rough on the back and very stiff, but a little leather conditioner and some good flexing around the scabbard-holder part, i think it will last a long while. I couldn't find any defects, and the metal parts holding it together are all where they should be. The leather tie-chord is of the same material as the rest of it, and rather difficult to actually tie tightly, but it seems unlikely to break.I just needed something cheap to hold my sword, and i wasnt really expecting anything of high quality, but im actually glad this is better than i expected, i might have to use this instead of a more expensive one

Nice product
Very nice looking, quality product and would work with a lighter weapon. It needs to be reinforced to hold weapon in place.

Crap lace
Wow well made, leather is thick and looks to be good for years to come. Too bad the leather lace was a piece of crap. went to pull it tight after putting my sheath in and the lace broke with hardly any force whatsoever. Its ok though, used a piece of 550 Para cord and works great.

Nice Frog!
Does exactly what it needs to do. The images look as though it is only capable of accommodating a slender blade, like a rapier, but I have my falchion in there, and that scabbard measures about 2.25" wide. You could probably get away with more if you are using it for a LARP or wooden practice sword, but I'm not sure there is enough material to secure a steel weapon's weight if you went any wider. The leather is thick rawhide, as is the cord. The quality seems pretty good, not flimsy at all.The cant of the weapon is not adjustable. Your sword will always sit at the angle pictured. I didn't expect it to, just putting it out there for anyone wondering...I deducted one star because, despite the pictures and description calling for BRASS colored hardware, mine arrived with STAINLESS hardware.
