I haven't made it all the way through this book yet but I think the message is about bolder prayer to receive the things you are needing in your life about changing things in your life that are effecting you. I would have given it 5 stars except for it's repetitiveness. All though many might find this helps the message sink in. I usually can't just read one at a time. I like to read 2-4 at a time. So what I started doing was skipping around in the book. Usually taking a chance and just opening the book to a random page. I did that a day ago and if that message didn't hit me right where I needed it to. It fit me perfectly and most pages you find a wonderful message that's a real gem and something you might want to write down and keep near by or highlight.If your a Christian there is a quote from the Bible to read everyday prior to that days message from Joel Osteen and also a recommended reading section from the Bible to read as well if you choose, before reading that days message.I think this book is for anyone needing some uplifting in their life and are looking for a bolder way to pray and as it says on the cover for increasing God's favor in your life. If your struggling with something in life that's holding you back or bringing you down or if your hurting and it's affecting your life this might uplift you some but to me it's not the complete answer or all the help some people will need to change their lives. It will depend on the person whose reading this book. I don't doubt many people find the answer to something they were seeking but If you have serious problems bringing you down please seek a doctor to help you as well as prayer and enjoying this book all the way. :)

Awesome book... I read a part every morning and it encourages me to live a better life by changing my thinking to a positive standpoint based on scriptures.

This book was the best money I've spent on a book in ages ~ SO GOOD, I bought one for my best friend! Just as it says 'daily readings' has short chapters of 'Encouragement' that will get you thru your day smiling & confident! If you don't have a lot of time to read, this book of encouragement is for you. That you Joel Osteen for a wonderful inspirational book. I love every word. I use some of his quotes through inspirational speaking and as a signature on my text and email messages. This book will keep you grounded in faith and let you know that God has a time planned out for you to walk in certain pathways in your life. This is a must read book inspired by God.

Another winner for Joel Osteen. This book is a must for daily encouragement. I'm a happier person when I'm reading "It's Your Time". Joel addresses many of life's issues and helps the reader to see things from a spiritual perspective which in turn changes ones outlook on life, even during difficulties.

This is written with all of Joel's amazing insite to the lords word! Just what everyone needs to hear in these times we live in. Excellent and so very encouraging everyday especially when u don't have a lot of time. Don't forget to read the scripture in the hope for today bible with each devotion! You will be blessed

I have quite a few devotional books but this one is my absolute favorite I have bought at least five copies of this book and distributed to family and friends I truly recommend this book. It is on my night table and often my husband and I take and read one devotion from the book to each other.

Awesome! I bought the Kindle version, and would read one each day whenever I had a few minutes. Great use of time spent waiting on line at the grocery store, etc..

Besitze bereits mehrere Bücher von Joel Osteen. Dieses ist sehr gut und hat für jeden Tag einen Bibelausschnitt, sowie eine Geschichte/Erklärung von Joel. Finde ich sehr motivierend und aufbauend. Da fängt der Tag gut an.

Any of Joel Osteen's books are uplifting and encouraging no matter what your situation. Read one and you willknow what I mean.

I have been using this book for my daily devotions from the time I got it on a trial basis. The stories are both interesting and encouraging. I also get to read whole bible chapters on a daily basis. There is also a prayer and affirmation at the end of each reading.
