It's good but has a few problems
It puts out a good sound that's good for the price. I like it, however there are a few flaws that should be fixed, in my opinion. The first is that the speakers volume doesn't get quiet enough. It can get loud like mad but when I want to relax in bed at night it won't mellow out even if I turn my phones volume all the way down. The second thing is that the speaker has this ANNOYING voice that says "power on" whenever the speaker is turned on. Then it beeps really loud and says "pairing." The voice is all demanding and I'm like ugh cause there's no setting to disable it.

Wanted to like her enough to keep her...
I really liked the aesthetic of this speaker, and that still holds true. The red grill is really sharp. The sound output is also impressive, as I read in other reviews. However...... After a few weeks of use, there have been some flaws that cannot be overlooked.1.) Other reviews have stated that the speaker can be used while plugged in and in "charging mode." FALSE. 100% FALSE. Just last night, as has happened a few times before, I was in the middle of using it. This time I was watching a movie on my laptop. Just when the action was getting good, the speaker announced "low battery. Please charge." So I shifted myself accordingly and connected the charging cable to the USB on my laptop; the red light on the speaker lit (indicating charging?). A few minutes later: "low battery. Please charge." I shifted myself again, and pushed the already inserted USB to make sure it was in all the way. I unplugged it (the red indicating charging? light shut off) and then plugged it back in (the red light indicating charging? lit back up.) But I immediately thought (based upon this exact thing happening before) that the USB on my macbook might not be giving it quite as much power as it needed. So I paused my movie (ugh) and reached for my USB charger adapter so I could plug it directly into the outlet (hoping that would be enough -- as it is for 99.9% of electronic devices these days.) The red light (indicating charging?) went off upon disconnect from my laptop, and then relit (indicating charging?) upon insertion into direct power from the outlet. I told myself "this has to be enough..." and unpaused my movie. About ten whole minutes passed without any word from the speaker. Then, much to my chagrin, "power off" she said. Bwooooop. Gone. I was left with mediocre macbook sound while the speaker's red light (indicating charging?) remained lit. Thirty minutes passed.... I tried to reconnect it... Nope. No juice at all. "OH! I left it on... perhaps I need to turn it off?" So I turned the speaker off, and continued to watch my movie with laptop speakers. A while later, turned it back on... "power on... pairing... pairing successful..." and I was back in business with the great sound for the remainder of my movie. But......... why wouldn't it keep playing once connected to USB power or direct outlet power??? ....That leads me into point two...2.) 12 hour playtime? HA! I watched 3 hours of a TV show, then about 20 minutes of my movie before she said she was low. Before that, I might have used it for 20 minutes at work for a couple of days. So that's 4-5 hours of active use between charges. Being off and set aside must TREMENDOUSLY affect battery life for live playback. So if that means I need to have it plugged in 100% of the time that I'm not using it in order to get the claimed battery life...? ...Uh, no. ...and my last point...3.) The bluetooth connection. When it works, it's strong and great. But SEVERAL times, I'm listening to music, alls well, and then suddenly it starts stuttering like crazy. Like a super bad cell phone connection. Or the stutter of dial-up internet days. Despite that my phone is sitting directly in front of the speaker (IE <1" apart.) STUTTER STUTTER --CAN'T MAKE OUT ANY WORDS OF THE SONG-- STUTTER. Pause, play, stutter. Back, play, stutter. Forward, play, stutter. Off. On. Pairing... connected. Play. Working great. Stutter. Pause. Bluetooth off. Bluetooth on. Pairing... connected. Play. Then back to normal and playing great. OH! What? "low battery. Please charge..." UGH.....So in the end... great aesthetics. Great sound. Bad battery life. Bad bluetooth connection. CANNOT be used while plugged in and charging! That equals a return for me. And I let her fail me with her flaws several times before coming to this conclusion, because I really wanted to like her enough to keep her. If I can't use the speaker while it's charging... that is the #1 deal breaker for me. Wired=power, and there should NEVER be an exception to that rule.

Very good!
I gave it three stars for now. Because it says before your first use to charge it about 4 to 6 hours and i charged it about 6 hours and a half and the red charging indicater light on it should have went out when it was done charging as it stated when its done charging the light would go out. The light never went out for me. So i took it off charge and tried it and it worked fine but dont know exactly if it took full charge! I love it tho. But i hope its working properly. Going to give it a few days to test it some more!Update: January 7 2016.Well i decided to keep the little speaker although the light would never go out when it is charged. But i love the way it sounds. It seems to take charge when i charge it because its still working! Just have to keep up with the hours that i have charged it. Otherwise its great and love it for the price. I am not complaining. The little money i spent on it was worth keeping it. So i gave it four stars.

This product was great. I work in a production site as maintenance ...
This product was great. I work in a production site as maintenance for the site. There is a lot of noise and forklift traffic around. Brcause of the forklifts, we can only use earplugs in our ears. No headphones or earphones allowed. When i first received this item i was surorised at how loud it was. I played music on max volume and was able to hear from my living room to my bedroom. I must say the sound was clear up until i passed 80% volume. Then the sound would distort a bit, but it was definitely acceptable at 100%.There is some bass on this device but do not expect the best bass on this speaker.Unfortunately, the biggest flaw of this speaker is the inability to stay out when music is over 50% volume. My soeaker broke after 2 months because at high volumes the speaker moves. It needs more grip to maintain its position.Overall, you geta great sound with these speaker. Be careful if you decide to turn the volume up, because the speaker will begin to crawl away.

Great speaker.
Works well for me. Never had a problem with it not connecting. Works everytime. Small enough that I can discreetly place it in whatever room I happen to be in. Great for outdoor parties. My one complaint is that you cant change the volume of the notifications. I tried bringing it to my public pool but everyone cringed when I switched it on because it announces: "POWER ON!!", "PAIRING!!!!!" CONNEECCTTEEDD!!!" At which point I can play music softly. Then if I get an incoming call it screams: "INCOMING CALL FROM 123456...!!!" Embarrassing, wish I could turn the announcements off.
