Digital Refrigerator Freezer Room Thermometer, No Frills Simple Operation, White

Hi Folks. Now I finally know the temperature in my refrigerator (& freezer). Simple thermometer, large digital numbers and, best of all, terrific Customer Service! I bought the unit, had it in my fridge for a couple of weeks, and decided to put a new battery in it - even though the one provided still worked. When I replaced the battery, it would NOT work. What? New unit, new battery & it wouldn't turn on. Put the old one back in, still wouldn't work.In the meantime, I had bought TWO more to give as Christmas presents (for December, 2019). Great, and now the original one didn't work. Plus, I had purchased TEN batteries to include in the gift packages. I emailed Customer Service, they responded within one day, told me they'd sent out a replacement and I didn't have to return the non-functional one. Sure enough, two days later the replacement arrived, and I put it in the fridge. A couple of days after that, I replaced the battery ... and it worked just fine!Customer Service emailed me again to ensure I had received the new one, and asked if there was anything else Wrenwane could do for me. Now I ask you, folks, how's that for service; this is a VERY reasonably priced item (with Prime, shipping is included), and they responded as though I'd spent $500! I highly recommend Wrenwane, and hope you will buy something from them. You won't be disappointed.

Great customer service! The first thermometer I received would not register all of the parts of the digits. When the company sent a follow-up email asking how I liked their product I told them about the problem. Andrew was my contact person, and he sent a replacement thermometer immediately. I didn't even have to worry about returning the old one. Now I have a refrigerator thermometer that works perfectly, is very simple to use, and has a nice large display for easy reading. I've been amazed at how responsive this thermometer is. It gives what seems to be an accurate reading within minutes, and as soon as I move it to a section of the fridge that has a different temperature, the display starts to change immediately. One time I took the thermometer out of the fridge and put it on the kitchen counter. When I turned around I saw it displaying my room temperature. So the range of temps it can pick up is pretty impressive. The only time I couldn't get a reading was when I put it in my freezer and it displayed "LL," which indicated the temp was below -4°F. It's also easy to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius by the way.

UPDATE: I like this thermometer. In fact, I like it so much I bought a second, so now I have one in the fridge and one in the freezer. They are simple, very easy to set up and are reasonably accurate. By that I mean, having two, I placed both in the freezer for a few days and then both in the fridge for a few days. The two register about two degrees apart, but that is accurate enough for me. Initially, I accidentally got one of them wet, it stopped working, and emailed the company to see if there was a way for me to fix it (there isn't). When they didn't respond, I gave them a poor rating. That led them to contact me. Somehow my initial email was overlooked. They apologized and sent me a new thermometer to replace the one I had ruined, gratis. Very nice. Also, I'd initially complained that the thermometer varied a lot in measurement, noting it read 34 degrees at one point. In retrospect, since that hasn't happened since, I'm guessing the freezer may have been defrosting. I don't know. I'd never seen it with previous thermometers and haven't since, so they're working now. A good value for the price.

I am a college student who rents. My fridge has been warming up randomly the past few months and some food has been spoiling. The maintenance my landlord sent fixed it temporarily, but ultimately the freezer heating mechanic does not work because my boyfriend has to reset the timer it every once in a while(I'm regurgitating info because I have no technical skills in fixing my fridge). In midst of him trying to tamper with our fridge when it had heated up again, I got this thermometer as a way to monitor the temperature...that way as soon as the temperature got too high, he could reset the timer and no food would go back. This way, even if he could not fix it, we will know right away if the fridge is not at a good temperature and can call in maintenance as needed.This thermometer is great for my purposes. The picture makes it look like you have to hang it on something in the fridge but the "hook" can be pushed back and used as a kickstand so that is can sit on a shelf, which is what I did. It's tiny enough that it takes up little room but I still see the temperature as soon as I open the fridge. It comes installed with the battery, so all I had to do was open it, set it to F, and put it in my fridge.

What I like about this cheap little thermometer is that it has ONE reading, and that’s temp. That’s what I wanted, and every other thermometer I have has TOO many features. It also has a hanger-thingy on the top that can work in multiple directions. The only thing it’s missing is an effective magnet mount. It has one, but it popped off instantly.I got this thermometer to put inside my van conversion. A nanny-cam is pointed at it, so I can remotely view how hot it gets inside the van interior. This is for heat-resistant pets, not kids! I have cooling methods to keep the interior chilly, but I just like the extra layer of security. I tested this unit’s accuracy against another reliable thermometer (as seen in the photo) and it was a-okay!It has been great to have a simple, clean, one-purpose thermometer that wasn’t over-featured and over-priced.

This thermostat is overall pretty decent. It's priced well and reacts quickly to temperature changes. It has a clear and easy to read display. However, it has a fundamental flaw which renders it useless for freezer usage.The recommended temperature for a freezer is -18c. This thermostat goes to a minimum of -20c. This results in the thermostat near constantly having a screen reading of 'L L', which I suspect indicates 'too low' or 'out of temperature range'. As I say, it works for fridge use, but for freezer, forget it. It's useless.

Bought to keep a check on freezer temperature which it does satisfactorily. Checked the actual reading with both fridge, which has an inbuilt thermostat, and the room temperature. It seems this thermometer is more or less accurate, good enough for the job we bought it for.

Poor pic, bur it shows a 5.5C difference between two identical thermometers. Rubbish.
