Perfect for Interior Painting Projects
I added this powder to wall paint to give it a shimmer when the sun hits it. The paint color is a pale yellow, so the gold was perfect for the effect I wanted. I tried one jar with a sample size paint to figure out how much I needed and then 10 jars for one gallon of paint. It looks great!

A great product
I am obsessed with mixing these powder pigments in with my acrylic paint. A little goes a long way. I have bought several in different colors and am having such fun experimenting! Arrived on time, no problems.

Pretty color, bottle less than half full
Color was beautiful, just unhappy with the bottle being less than half way full.

Something has changed with the Pearl Ex powders--not nearly as pigmented as they used to be
I've been using Jacquard's Pearl Ex powder pigments for many years. I LOVED how pigmented they were--a little went a LONG way.Recently, I ran low so I ordered both the large Pearl Ex set and a couple of larger bottles--including this one. The product has definitely changed. It takes much, much more powder to achieve the same results. That, to me, is a deal breaker, considering there are other quality competitor pigment powders from which to choose (Slice of the Moon powders are pretty great). Plus, the container has an over-lip that makes it very difficult to get the powder out. (I use a disposable plastic eye dropper--it's the best way I've found to get it out of the container without making a mess).
