The Complete King James Version Audio Bible

I was very happy with this CD set until today when I discovered it's missing the ENTIRE book of Proverbs! I'm in the process of figuring out how to get this corrected by ChristianAudio. So hopefully, they will do the right thing and replace or send me audio files for Proverbs.Otherwise this is a great no frills audio book of the Bible. The narrator has a pleasant voice and I'm happy just to put it on and just let the words flow out the speakers. I didn't need famous actors or a dramatic presentation although that's ok, too. If you just want to hear the Bible read to you in plain english and no music or dramatics, this is for you.

I love my Holy Bible In Audio. I have visual problems to the point that I can't read basic print without some kind of visual aid. Even corrective lenses don't help. So, I bought the audio Bible in King James Version. Obviously, the one setback is that you can't just open the book and go to a particular section. Then again, if you have eyesight troubles, I doubt you could anyway. It's a great way for visually impaired/blind individuals to enjoy the Bible. Or if you just want to sit and listen while relaxing as I do. I bought mine in MP3 format. The only problem I have is remembering what Track I left off on. Then again, who cares, I just start off where I think I left off and go from there. I can personally recommend this product. I just enjoy listening to the Biblenow and again.

Excellent companion for long road trips. After listening to Sherberg, I initially had trouble listening and following the narrative read by James Earl Jones. Then I changed my thoughts. This is Jesus speaking to me. With that thought, I could understand, and enjoy every word as spoken by James Earl Jones. Both narrators are outstanding, and they cover the bible nearly word for word. The quality of the product is excellent. I have not had a single flaw pop-up.

I was utterly disappointed when the third disc towards the very end (on the last chapter) came to an abrupt halt and then about 15 seconds later picked at a different point in that chapter. The following CDs had hesitating points but not to the skipping of text as it did in the third CD. I called Amazon about this and they were gracious enough to send me another set with a RMA to return the defective unit. When the new set came in, I immediately went to the third CD and played chapter 17 which was Exodus Chapter 3 and when it came to the same point, it came to an abrupt halt and picked up at the same point as it did in the previous set. I called Amazon back and they had me to return both the sets back to them and refunded my purchase. In my opinion, I think this was not a copying error but rather a recording one. I would highly caution anyone who is wanting to purchase this, that you make sure you check that spot the third CD. Customer service was excellent.

I purchased these cds for my father in law and he loves them! His eyes are bad so he cant see the words in the bible to read it, so he loves being able to pick what section he wants to listen to and they read the bible to him. The price was great compared to others that I found online and in stores!

A very good reader. Like how it is organized on the disk so that I can pick the book and chapter that I want to listen too.

I had read reviews that the cd's would not play. So I did a little research on mp3's (meaning I asked grandson!) Turns out they will play on most newer machines. Disc 1 is playing on DVD player right now. We have James Earl Jones reading New Testament so I knew we would like his section. I had not heard of Jon Sherberg. He does not have the booming voice of Jones but his reading skill is excellent. Have not played enough to know if any sections are missing or garbled but so far, we are extremely pleased.

The CD's will not play properly. I have tried them on an older CD player and on a new CD player. They will play for a short while and then they skip over several minutes of play or else they will freeze up and quit working. I have tried several CD's and they are all the same. Before I bought them, I read several reviews that told about similar problems other people had had with the CD's. I decided to go ahead and get them thinking that if they didn't work, I would return them. I bought these as a Christmas gift for my 93 year old mother-in-law who lives in Texas and unfortunately, before she could open them and attempt to play them, the 30 day return time ran out. I and numerous grandsons have attempted to play them on several different players and the same problems occur for everyone. Since this is a known problem, I think Amazon should replace them regardless of the length of time. 3/29/16 UPDATE: Amazon has refunded my payment. I give Amazon 5 stars for how they have taken ownership of this problem. I still give the product ZERO stars. I have placed an order for: the Holy Bible (King James Version) read by Scourby, Alexander. It cost more, but hopefully it will work!

Although the bible had all the necessary information it did not have a list of books or page numbers at the beginning like a normal bible.

I've been thinking about an audio bible for a little while and I'm so pleased I've bought one. Very clear reading, easy to listen to while driving to and from work. It doesn't replace reading my Bible, but compliments it well. I would recommend it to anyone.

This product has 5 cd's 3 of which have played the 4th and 5th will not play. Need to return it as faulty, how do I do that? Past 30 days...

Very cheap! Great to read anywhere on my Kindle.
