I bought these as I have long used elderberry syrup to help combat colds. I thought it would be easier than lugging sticky syrup around when I felt a cold coming on. There aren’t many supplements which actually do what you’ve read they can do but elderberry sure does! I first heard about it when I got the flu while living in North Carolina. Local residents who lived in the mountains there said to take elderberry and you won’t catch viruses and they were right. I also work in health care and this is what nurses take to stay healthy all winter. Whenever I feel something coming on, feel run down or people around me at work are sick, I take it and I haven’t had the flu since 2001. It also makes me just feel better overall. The NOW brand has the best price, they are easy to take and the quality is great. I work in health care and the nurses in the ED and ICU all take them. I will never be without!

I was unable to use this supplement because the expiry information was not visible on the package I received. For health products, having a clear expiry date is essential to know if it is safe and effective. Without it, I cannot recommend this item.

I’ve been using it for a while and the only thing i noticed that it soothes my stomach.

I have been taking this from past 3 years. I cant think of any other elderberry brand apart from NOW FOODS. Still continuing it till date.
