Modway Gridiron Stainless Steel Coffee Table With Tempered Glass Top

I recently watched the movie Game Night, and there's a scene in which the gridiron desk appears, and it was so unique that I went online looking for it. I was already shopping for a new coffee table, and what do you know, they make one of them, too. Had to have it, and bought it immediately. The glass top arrived first, in a separate box, with holes in the corners, and not much padding inside at all. Fortunately, it was perfectly fine. The table base showed up today, and while I've read several reviews on here about damaged or crooked bars/slats, dents, scratches, I was fortunate enough to be lucky to have received everything in great condition. I will say, the packaging could be MUCH better, it's definitely not as fortified as one would expect for a $600 coffee table, considering pieces from most other "cheaper" funiture manufacturers pad the hell out of their boxes, but, I'm grateful that it arrived pristine. The table itself, is simply amazing. Definitely cool looking, and not something you see regularly, even in high end furniture stores. It looks like something straight out of a 5 star hotel lobby. Very sharp, and exactly what I wanted.

The table is beautiful. It's very eye catching. Arrived in good condition, even the glass that's on top. You get spacers for under the glass so that it doesn't move on the table. Works well. I had debated between two tables and I'm glad I chose this one.

I saw the coffee table in a furniture expensive store, and it liked a lot. So modern, enough big to get in the middle of huge living room, but price in that store was at 6 times the price in Amazon, so I decided to order so fast. Everybody visiting my home is impressed with the table, and we all at home happy.

I purchased a center table (39.5X39.5 square). it has a stylish look and I totally loved it. Very happy with this purchase and the way it was packed. I was worried about the glass but there were no scratches or chip offs. 5*

Delivered on time and the packaging was good as well. Just heavy as expected. It arrived in 2 packages - 1 for the table and the other for the glass top. Placed this one in our family room and looks good.

This is a great looking table, but it is severly dented and uneven. Really noticeable. For the price of the item I would expect better quality.

Shipment was unusual. The table was wrapped in at least a half dozen boxes and (seemingly) several roles of tape; the glass equally so, though neither in a way that gave confidence as to the shipping method, rather looking like the fulfillment of an eBay order. This is admittedly a minor quibble, but offered a striking first impression. The table itself is entirely disappointing. the table's 'ribs' are irregularly spaced and not at all squared, several jut out and are quite noticeable. These ribs (apologies, don't have a better term) are not well aligned to the bottom either; some rest on the base, some do not, the gaps are of varying sizes. The glass arrived separate from the table itself an had several rectangular cork feet affixed with glue, erratically placed along the glass surface; placement was not symmetrical, nor did it correspond in any way with the ribs of the table. I purchased some clear rubber feet so the glass could sit level but these are a temporary fix as I've had to reapply them several times over the last few months. I've got some ideas about drilling small holes and using a different kind of rubber foot but have not done so yet. Essentially, I spent over $600 on a minor train wreck. The aesthetics of this design are the reason I chose it in the first place and are ruined by the poor quality construction and lack of attention to detail. Save yourself the headache of this purchase and look elsewhere.
