Quality appears adequate and price very good
I ordered two of the 11.3 liter carboys last week (June 6, 2012) just before Amazon posted a warning of review. I received the carboys in good condition on June 13, 2012. They were double boxed with bubblewrap on the inside and outside of the inner box. The packaging appeared to be capable of withstanding a reasonable amount of abuse during shipping. The boxes said made in China. The glass appeared to be reasonably clear of major flaws. One did have a very small bubble in its side that did not detract from its suitability for winemaking.I plan on buying more for my home winery at the bargain price.

Solid usable Glass Carboy, BUT Cracked....
Only gave 4 stars because the item came cracked, but don't believe it was any fault of amazon. The carboy is pre-packaged and the damage seemed to not have been caused by shipping. Paklab Glass Carboy 11.3 Liter, 0.44-Pound Box Received this product promptly. Looks like an excellent item for the price $25.00 plus free shipping (Prime member). I unpackaged it an it looked great however, when I turned it upside down to inspect the bottom there was a crack along the bottom of the bottle. I can use this for fermentation it would be a ticking bomb, beside the crack went all the way through. Looks like it happened at the warehouse, someone set it down with to much force or dropped it down. also the orignal packed box (came in a inner orignal box and outter protective box) was weak and depressed in, the bubble was that thin layer stuff that you would normally wrap electronics parts with. Over all I think the product is a a good buy, I'm waiting on the one amazon sent me as a replacement. I like it so much that I went ahead and ordered another on to have two of them.

good for the price
I missed out on the deals for the 6gal model, but these are a pretty good deal regardless it seems.anyway - a sturdy vessel and seems to be made well enough.ordered 2, came well-packed and in fine condition, boxes marked: paklab made in italy.ordered 2 more, also well packed and arrived safely, boxes marked: paklab made in china.the chinese ones seem as good quality as the italian (can't offer a more specific direct comparison right now - italian ones are both occupied) - maybe even a bit heavier?

A sign that you love booze
maybe its just me making booze in this thing, but man its awesome and heavy duty. I'm pretty sure I could kill at least 15 zombies before it broke... now i'm doubting it would break. Would need to be fashioned to something...It's perfect. Thanks Paklab!Way to make the good stuff.

cracked
There is a small crack, or chip at the top of the carboy. Makes it useless since the airlock isnt air tight. No way to return it and NO contact information to try and get a replacement. Thanks Amazon for such great customer service!

Paklab Glass Carboy
The water jars are nice and sturdy and will make nice decorative pieces. It's much to heavy for carrying water. The jar only holds 3.3 gals of water, by the time you fill it with water, it will end up weighing about 4.5 gals. The produce did not serve my purpose but it is a nice jar. I'd like to send it back but I'm not willing to spend $7 or over for the shipping charges, so I'm stuck with two maybe three costly jars that I really can't use!;-/ I ordered 3 jars but only received 2. I am glad about that.

no cover or cup
Not sure why it came without any cover or a cap? What cap would be suitable for storing water, for example...?How clean is the interior? Does it have to be? ... on and on...
