Gund Bears 'Slouchers' Teddy Bear Plush

Love him! Two years ago while going through a rough patch, I purchased Philbin, who I named Nanook. Nanook, has been my constant companion for 2 years. I sleep with him every night, he travels with me, and he's even spent nights with me in the hospital. Hes even got my boyfriend smitten. If I leave the bed first, I'll come back to my boyfriend giving him snuggles!Anyways, after 2 years of love, I've decided Nanook needs a friend. I chose Slouchers (who has been named Blue) because he has a unique little grin, and a gorgeous gray color. He arrived this morning, and right away, I love him!He is larger than Nanook, but it's all in his legs. He's also significantly heavier. I think he's more firmly stuffed as well, but it's hard to tell... Nanook has been washed and loved on so much, he could just be going flat.Anyways, these are amazing bears. Fabulous quality, unique, soft and floppy. If you're looking for a perfect friend for yourself or a little one, you can't go wrong with these guys. I think my next bear will be a little lady :)

My granddaughter loves this little bear and so do I. We have named him Thistle Bear after the song. He is an unusual color and his fur is not the usual fur you find on a stuffed bear. It's rather curly I guess you would say, and very soft and hugable. She loves to have him waiting on her when she gets home from school, so her Mother has to drop him off every morning. He has the sweetest face and my granddaughter is thrilled because rather than return to the woods after Christmas, he chose to stay with her. He's not a stuffed toy that will be relegated to the toy box or closet. It's a lifetime keeper. Gund makes beautiful, soft, friends. My granddaughter has fallen in love with this bear......she will soon be 7 but he has taken on a life of his own. He goes everywhere with us. Just look at his face .... you will love him as well.

The first thing that drew me to this bear was it's color you don't find alot of gray bears and secondly this bear has a very cute/goofy look to him :) this bear is super cute, soft, and the perfect size for cuddling. The fur is very neat because when light hits it it sparkles I think that's cool :) This bear makes my adult daughter who I bought it for smile everyday it's her special stuffed animal she says. I know the price may be high but I think it's worth every penny because it's a gund and the bear is so cute and cuddly

This bear has the perfect face, is soft and sweet. I love "Mushroom" but his arms and legs are not overfilled so he's kind of floppy instead of full, if that makes sense. Not as good of a cuddler as Kaboodle and Schlumpy the other Gunds we have. Great color and great face tho!

This bear is absolutely adorable...especially the silly side smile that makes us all happy every time we see Slouchers!I had previously purchased Gund's Schlumpie for ME with some gift money :) and had to remind my daughter daily that Schlumpie is Mommy's bear...sooooo...I got the 20" AND shortly thereafter the 12" Gund Slouchers bears for my daughter and she LOVES LOVES LOVES both of them!Now we have Daddy, Mommy and Baby Bears that she plays with and announces them as her "family."Her favorite to snuggle with is baby Schlumpie.(By the way, the photo of the 12" baby Schlumpie does not do him/her justice as he/she is the same color and snuggleability as the 20" Schlumpie.)

My grandfather has Alzheimer's and he and I have started a bear collection. The bears bring comfort to him because he thinks they are real and he talks to them and loves on them. I love GUND bears so these are the only one I like to buy for him. They are so soft and easy to use to even prop his head up to feed him or use to support his arms etc. Here is a pic of him and his new GUND bear "Jack". It is a good size too which made me happy because the last one I purchased was a little to small for him.

Love this little guy. He is so cute. I bought him for myself. I am a senior. I have been with three of my children as they died, one in 911. Sometimes when alone, I need something to hug and even talk to. He actually looks at me like he really cares and is listening to me. He makes me smile even while crying. He isn't fat or solid to hug, but soft and cuddly. Love him!

One of my grandsons asked for a soft stuffed animal for Christmas. I searched everywhere and read reviews online and then found this one. This bear is VERY loved now by my grandson - he was SO HAPPY when he opened it ! It's soft and snuggly and just the right size. And cute, too.
