So far so good!
Started using this product last week. Used it a grand total of 3 times.About me: I have long waist length Asian hair that's extremely dry and damaged from years of heat abuse. Because my hair is so long and damaged, it tangles easily and every time I wash or brush I noticed a lot of fallout. Got to the point where I noticed my hair was sparse and I could see too much of my scalp. So I'm using this product to add new growth, not for length. The way I've been measuring for new growth is by running my hand around my natural part and cowlick to see if I notice new growth. (Asian hair grows straight out and up, so it's easy to feel new growth. Feels almost prickly.)After the first two uses, I felt along my part and did not feel new growth. Was disappointed but decided to give it time. After about a week I'm feeling it again and I feel TONS of new growth! Lots of prickly new hair filling in where I had none before!Product is solid. It feels tingly after awhile of setting in, and it smells strongly of medicinal eucalyptus. Smell was almost unbearable at first but I got used to it.Now that I can see and feel it working, I can say that it is well worth it.Will update as my hair progresses.Week 3:Used a total of 5 times now. Product is halfway gone. Still feeling brand brand new growth, as the next cycle comes in. Not as plentiful as the last cycle, but new hair is still coming in, particularly in my cowlick near the back of my head. Very pleased with this so far, would like to see some growth in front, near my baby hairs. Will update again soon.Week 5: used about 8 times now. Bottle is nearly empty. I might be able to get two more sessions out of it. Coming back to this page to order more.Week 5 observations:This bottle went fast for me. I've been doing 2-3 sessions a week as advised and it lasted me about a month. With continuous use, that's a hefty $40 a month. But I imagine I could probably scale back when I'm done with the rebuilding phase and move on to the maintenance phase. Once my hair feels sufficiently thick again, I will probably use 3-4 times a month only.No new prickly growth after week 3, but the hair that came in is growing pretty fast. Went for a trim with a new stylist who had never seen my hair before. We did a hair consultation and he remarked that I have "lots of baby hairs". He showed me what he meant in the mirror: I have a lot of short new hair coming in (and some mid-length hair as well that had broken off) but they are "baby hairs" because they are thinner and more delicate than my usual strand. He suggested I am dehydrated so my new hairs are coming in weaker. I do feel dehydrated often so I am pledging now to drink more water so my new growth will come in strong. Also started taking a daily multivitamin for women as well as biotin. We did a trim to take off my scraggly dry ends and a keratin treatment to fortify my baby hairs to help them stay strong and grow. I suggest anyone using this product take the same measures to protect and fortify your new growth. My two areas of concern now are: my cowlick at the back of my head, and my baby bangs in the front. Both areas have filled out some, but I was hoping for more. So far, it is at the halfway point between nothing and what I was hoping for. Will continue to treat these two areas with extra care and attention.I've noticed that the applicator (small glass dropper with a rubber squeeze pump) isn't particularly efficient at distributing this oil. You squeeze the dropper and the oil comes out and sits at one location. It's hard to spread it all around the scalp. If anyone has hints for better and more efficient method of distribution please advise. So far I've been doing this: part hair at strategic places on my head where I feel I need it most on my scalp, put mini drops along the part, dampen my hair where I've put the drops to try to slightly dilute and distribute. When I'm done I put a little diluted conditioner (cheap whatever conditioner) to act as carrier and spread it some more along more areas of my scalp. Part my hair at a different strategic area and repeat until I feel I have covered my whole head. So far, this seems to be an ok method of getting it to reach all over my head. You'll know because wherever the oil touch will tingle your scalp.Another observation: this oil is hard to wash out and really clings to hair shaft, especially midway down the length. If you do one pass on the shampoo, your hair may end up an oily mess. It's tricky so you'll have to play around with figuring out a way to wash out the oil without overwashing your hair. I do two passes with a gentle non-foaming shampoo, then rinse with lukewarm water. Do whatever works for you, but be mindful to retain the health of your existing hair. Conclusion after using first bottle: new growth spotted weeks 2-3, quality of existing hair doesnt seem affected. Hair growing slightly (but noticeably) faster than usual. New growth is thinner than regular hair but they're there. Edges starting to fill in. Not at desired result yet. Will continue another month and post more observations.Week 7: Nothing new to report. The new growth is very fine, very thin, and very light in color (almost blonde or colorless, whereas my hair is naturally black). I can see and feel them especially well along my hairline over my forehead. Hoping the quality of new growth improves.ONE YEAR UPDATE: it has now been a year since my initial purchase. The first half year or so I went through two bottles and saw a lot of growth, though the new growth was very fine and very light in color. Nevertheless, I was somewhat satisfied and started to get lazy with my biotin vitamin intake and use of this product... And my hair stopped growing again.I did a lot of research and I’m fairly certain my hair loss is hormonal. After a decade of being on birth control (and many heads of “cycling through” to skip periods) I believe the hormones in my birth control has been inhibiting my hair growth. After examination, I have come to find that my hair loss occurs mostly on the crown of my head and around my bangs, and that the hair isn’t so much falling out as it’s just no longer growing out of the follicle on top. I have decided to stop hormonal birth control entirely and start using my 10,000mg natrol biotin and this product again. It has now been about two weeks since I stopped my birth control and started this regrowth regiment. Two weeks back on the wagon and I’m seeing similar results as before. Hair is starting to grow back around my edges, but they are very fine and very light in color. Hair is growing FAST (maybe 3/4 of an inch in the past two weeks), but the hair that grows in has a different texture than my usual hair. Not as strong, not as black, each strand not as thick. This week I will be adding a shampoo with DHT blockers to my regiment to see if I can’t regrow some of that sparseness from the top of my head. I wish I hadn’t stopped this regiment about 4 months ago. Will continue to report results.

Stop! Buy ginger formula instead! According to the company this doesn’t have scalp benefits
These photos are my results with this company’s ginger and saw palmetto formula! Before I do anything I’d like to say this company is great. They have ALWAYS been prompt and exchanged products without the hassle of returning the product I wasn’t happy with and this has been impressive. So this company has amazing customer service but I have stopped purchasing anything but the ginger saw palmetto formula because it works and the other products have not worked for me. I had amazing results with the ginger and saw palmetto formula. Buy that if you are looking for hair loss remedy. Buy this only if you are looking to prevent breakage and need moisture in your hair. The company owner explained to me that this is not a “treatment line” product. This Rose lavender made my scalp condition flare up again and I lost some hair before I figured it out and immediately switched back. The description says this is a hair loss product with scalp benefits. Since I used the ginger and saw palmetto formula and have had amazing results (lost about 40% of my hair due to stress induced and chronic telogen effluvium. TE also happens to many women after giving birth, or stopping a hormonal contraceptive, or any major hormonal changes. It can become chronic in some cases and last up to 10 years. I was lucky and got the chronic form (sarcasm there)and the ginger saw palmetto formula has brought my thinning hair back to full thickness and amazing length in one year) I decided to give this a try as it also says it’s for alopecia and has scalp benefits. When my hair began falling out again while using this I contacted the company asking to exchange the product. The company told me this product is not part of the “treatment line” and doesn’t have scalp benefits. And I read the description to them where it absolutely says it has scalp benefits. Now I’d like to mention that the company is great. But this product from what they say is for the hair, not the scalp. Basically it’s for people with dry hair. But alopecia begins at the scalp, and it claims to have scalp benefits in the literal description of this product. I disagreed with the advertising here. I asked the company to clarify the description but it appears they haven’t.Literally the only products I can use that address my hair condition which includes itchy and sensitive scalp and a large percentage of my hair falling out is the ginger and saw palmetto formula. If I stop using it, my hair condition begins to flare up. Using it for a full year has almost entirely ended my hair condition and my hair has grown back in all its full density and volume. I gave this product 3 stars because the company is great and it does leave the hair soft. But this product doesn’t treat the scalp. It isn’t a part of their “treatment line”. I suggested making the description more clear so other people didn’t run into the same problem, see a new product and switch from the “treatment line” to this luxury line that doesn’t have the same scalp benefits. The company was great as always and exchanged the products. They were prompt and professional. I’ve never had a problem with them. I will only use the ginger and saw palmetto line though. The clover and morninga was decent but not the same results either, although it simply made my scalp feel a bit drier than when I use the ginger line. The cayenne formula simply made my scalp more inflamed which sort of makes sense and I probably should have made that assumption prior to purchasing that one, but I did exchange it.Fantastic company just needs to correct the product description. The ginger and saw palmetto formula has changed my life. I no longer have to use scalp steroids and antibacterial shampoo from my dermatologist. I don’t have parts of my scalp visible anymore. I also don’t need to constantly visit my dermatologist anymore.Bottom line: If you are buying this to treat alopecia I STRONGLY recommend you use the ginger and saw palmetto formula instead. And I strongly recommend you use this brand, and recommend the saw palmetto formula for anyone experiencing alopecia. If you are buying this for a natural hair shampoo and conditioner with hair softening properties, this should work great. Just don’t expect it to treat alopecia. Unless your alopecia is a result of your hair being so dry it breaks off. But the company owner told me this is not a part of the “treatment line”. So it doesn’t “treat” the scalp issues associated with a lot of hair loss conditions.
