Great ideaโฆcould use a little refinement.
After seeing a lot of guys at work using Toughbilt bags, I purchased several styles to try out. Ultimately I settled on this one as it fits most of my needs. Pros: The clip feature is great as far as being able to take them off and on your belt quickly and then using the stand feature to allow you to work out of the pouch without it falling over. Plenty of room in the pouch for almost everything I need Quality of the pouch means it holds up well over time. Iโm hard on tool pouches climbing up and down ladders all day in and out of attics and crawl spaces and through wooded areas. The warranty is fantastic. Emailed their support about an issue with the hub part of several bags and had a whole box of new ones at my door in about 2 weeks. Cons: over time the clips wear out, sometimes you get an advance warning as the pin that allows it to pivot open will start to slide out one end. Other times they just snap. Would be nice to see a revised clip and hub design possibly out of a more durable material such as metal. When either of those parts fail, it means picking up all my tools that scatter and thereโs a potential to cause damage to a customers property or lose a tool. The dividers in the pouch center donโt go all the way to the bottom and allow objects to work their way down and across the bottom of it at times. Eventually Iโll make some dividers out of something like kydex to solve this issue. The loops on the front and the flashlight holder near them are useless to me as are the pockets on the outside on the other side of the pouch. I donโt carry a large flashlight, though I have used it for a hammer and the tool pouches just donโt fit things the way Iโd like leading to tools sliding out the bottom or popping out the top. Overall Iโm happy with them for the price and also have purchased 2 different drill holsters and several other bags from them. I have a board in my work truck where several different bags hang for different purposes and itโs nice being able to grab the one I need and go. Itโd be great if they let you design a bag from a list of options to be able to add or remove certain features but thatโs asking a lot at this price point from a company that mass produces them. Iโd be willing to pay more for customization however, and Iโm sure others would as well.

Perfect for Relay Techs
I started as a relay testing tech recently and was in need of a small, but capable, tool bag. I bought this pouch for the variety of pouches and especially the clip system. Why it works well for me: The middle main pouch is where my Fluke 1587 lives. Itโs a little tight with the probes, but Iโm sure it will loosen up a bit over time. The left and right main pouches hold my Klein auto strippers, Greenlee crimpers, and fuse pullers. The two front pockets work perfectly for my lineman pliers and side cutters. The skinny screwdriver loops on the right hold my insulated screwdrivers, and the wider loops hold my 11-in-one screwdriver and flashlight. The skinny pocket at the top of the main compartment holds scissors and flush snips, while the tiny pocket is perfect for a flathead tweaker. I bolted a rubber coated neodymium magnet to the belt clip. This allows me to hang it from equipment cabinet doors, I beams, and even steel entry doors. This is the main reason I opted for this brand. I can then unclip it and clip the bag to the clip I bolted to the inside of my truck topper. What could be better: The adjustable flashlight loop is pointless. Iโd much rather have a pocket that size with a closed bottom for pens/highlighters. Additionally, the phone pocket is the most ridiculous thing Iโve ever seen. The only use Iโve found is a box cutter, but the pocket is too deep, making it hard to get out. Overall, itโs a great bag. 5/5 would recommend.

Fantastic pouch for electrical tools
I work long 12+ shifts in the entertainment industry (IATSE Local 728 lighting technician) and have come to realize over the years of intermittent standing around waiting while eating craft service and unpredictable crazy fast-paced work out of nowhere that lugging around my already admittedly minimal daily tool kit is, quite often, an unnecessary pain in the (lower) back. What drew me to this pouch was the Cliptech feature, which I was unsure of at first (and am still skeptical as to how long it will last--both the belt clip and the section of the pouch itself which locks onto the clip, made of hard plastic), but so far I am pleasantly surprised by it. Had it for four months, seems very durable and "tough built" so far, aside from a few scratches here and there, presumably a result of friction between the plastic pieces during movement. This feature makes adding or removing the pouch from your belt, whether a regular belt on your pants or a separate tool belt, incredibly easy. It can quickly be popped off and set down nearby when not needed (the kickstand feature is also a cool bonus, however it doesn't really work if you have long tools in the side pockets), then picked up again and re-attached in less than two seconds. Feels very secure and I never worry about it falling off accidentally as this would require both the lock on the pouch being pressed and the pouch itself being lifted upwards at the same time to slide off of the clip, which the back of the pouch sort of hooks onto and then locks into place there. My only real complaint about this is that when wearing on a regular belt, the weight of the entire pouch is distributed only across this relatively small 3" belt clip, which can dig into your hip bone if heavy enough. Not too much of an issue, but definitely sets it apart from other pouches in my opinion. Good amount of space with not too many pockets. Two screwdriver loops, one slightly narrower than the other for whatever reason; An outer pocket with a velcro strap bottom that can be opened--still not sure what this is for exactly, I believe the description says it's for longer tools to hang through, but I can't off the top of my head think of any tools that would "fit" this pocket without also falling straight through; a long tape chain for holding electrical tape; several small loops stitched on the side that I'm also not quite sure the intended purpose of, but handy for hanging random things from with carabiners and such; a small end pocket with a velcro flap enclosure described as a "wire tester pocket" which also has me scratching my head, as "wire tester" could mean any number of things, the majority of which would not fit in this tiny pocket, however it fit would fit a small/compact tool like a pocketknife well (I use it for my Leatherman Surge, fits perfectly); large main compartment can fit a modest combination of bulkier tools; slim inner pocket can be used for a notebook or for thinner items like pens/markers, small screwdrivers, etc. and finally a "pencil holder" type sheath that may also fit a very thin screwdriver. Overall a very well-made tool pouch with a unique clip system that I would definitely recommend to anyone in any kind of electrical field.

Possibly one of the series made with "customer's view and needs" in mind
For over 24 years in IT/Telecom Infrastructure I have used a lot of pouches, bags, toolboxes for my tools and equipment. Regardless fact, that most of ToughBuilt stuff is made for handyman, electrical or construction workers and so far haven't seen specific sets for so called low voltage engineers and technicians, I've managed to "adapt" couple of different ToughBuilt pouches for LV use and way more better then other manufacturer ones. Here are some key advantages from my point of view: 1. Quick release clip - very practical for "field operations". We have double sets of belt clips, one set inside car on sliding holder plate and another on belt, so I can quickly take off my pouch from car and put on my belt... most of other pouches have either J hook type belt holders (deform belts), velcro attached wings you pass through belt and stick to pouches back (can't hold pouches when they got heavy with tools) and worst ones are with pass through belt loops, so you can't remove them without taking off the belt. 2. Stand legs - in pretty much situations i still need my pouch with tools, but if working close to ground level (sitting or kneeling) it is very useful. Also, if I'm performing certain work and don't need pouch (actually heavy weight on my belt) I don't have to put it on the floor laying down, so tools can fall off, neither looking for wall or other support to put it against, just putting it standing on its own.... 3. Durability and quality of material - you can find a lot of leftover or removed screws and other sharp materials in my pouch (drill bits, butterfly bits, even most of LV screwdrivers are pretty sharp PH0,PH00, 1/16 and 3/32 flats) and even after 18 month of use, my other pouch is in "almost new" shape in and out... the only thing broke so far was 1belt clip which I have screw mounted in car(and yes, belt clip design allows to put it on belt, on stationary plate or even screw it to surfaces) ... it broke in weakest points of joints around top metal stick carrying my pretty heavy pouch (10 lbs +) whilst driving at relatively high speed (compared to walking ;) ) over famous NY potholes and bumps ;) 4. Variety of shapes, sizes and capacities - as mentioned, those pouches are made with "customer point of view" in mind and designed perfectly matching most of your needs... you can find suitable and preferable to your specific needs one - from wide thin to narrow thick, small compact, with inside "strap pockets" or variety of outside screw holders, pockets, tape chains, tape measure holders, hammer hooks, drill holders etc... The only con, so far is they have no pouches designed around most of LV tools and equipment use in mind (hope they'll have them soon), but still managed to adapt 2 or 3 different models for LV use.

Surprisingly durable
Love this thing. Its most expected failure points (the plastic and rivets that secure the actual clip) have held up for over a year with newt daily use and heavy-ish tool load. I've walked miles, 100s of flights of stairs, and up and down 1000s of feet worth of ladders. I've banged against walls and doors, got it caught in several things, and it's still held strong. It's only now started to show ware at the bottom of the pouch. A hole has opened up where my more pointy tools tend to settle. Other than that, my only complaint is that the kick stand opens up just slightly too short for it to be reliably stable. Simply a must have.

Rad. Good price good product.
A great system. I work in facility maintenance so I have my hands on all sorts of different things all day. I have electrical, plumbing, and drill bags as well as my "walking around" bag and an extra catch all bag for odd ball jobs. Each bag is large enough to carry redundant set ups so each bags has everything I need. I also picked up their tool belt and suspenders to carry 4 bags at once, however not too far because ALL these tools weigh a ton. Love the shoulder straps and fold out flap on the larger bags. Good quality construction Awesome modular system. The bar mounts they sell are nice but each clip has screw holes to mount straight to wall so you can save the $10 per. Only con is the larger bags flex backwards under the weigh when hanging on the bench but only because there wasn't any support at the bottom. Mount em on a wall or make up a brace and they'll be good. Have plans to purchase more and expand set up.
