Hammock hanging sets are pretty basic... I hung one of these last night and it worked good... I already have another set and while I probably can't mention the brand name I'll say it is a more recognizable brand that charged more and it looked and felt identical. You need to hit a stud.. obviously... and that is the only hard part about using these. Wise Owl also makes great 12kn carabiners (good weight range for hammocking, super light weight) which is why I was willing to give them a shot on the hammock hanging set... I have several of those carabiners and love them. They are also so light weight I use them for other tasks that you would usually use a cheap carabiner for because you never know when you might need one that can lift your own weight. (almost 3,000 lbs of force) you can't use them for climbing because they are wire gate.. but great for hanging bear bags.. or to have accessible with spare rope for an emergency or to replace a lost one on your hammock kit... or to hang your ice spikes for your boots in a more accessible location on the outside of your pack. Spare carabiners that are weight rated are just far more useful than cheap aluminium $0.99 junk.

Wow! I am really impressed on how good this setup work. Really easy to set it up. In less than 20 min my kids where enjoying a hammock in their bedrooms (I know, its crazy). Instant extra sleeping area when family came over.

I bout this wise owl wall mounting kit because I sleep in a hammock every night. My eno wall mount is fine but wanted to try something cheaper. I been sleeping in my hammock for almost 5 years now. But this wall mount has seen almost 3 months of nightly sleep 8-12 hours and no problem yet! My eno set I did break a bolt. If your 200+ I’d say go to a hardware store. Take the original bolt with you and ask them for a grade 8 bolt same size. That will hold you without fear of breaking. I will update if any issue with this set happens. So far. Excellent!!

Bought this to put inside of an enclosed trailer for camping and those long days at the track. They are well made and sturdy. Quick, easy install and removal if necessary. Would buy again.

After initially installing the brackets, on the first use, one of the lag screws snapped. I reported this in a previous review. Even though I mentioned that I might have overtightened it, the company contacted me immediately and offered me a full refund. That tells me they stand behind their product. I asked only for reimbursement of a replacement lag screw. The brackets were installed and I have used my hammock a few times without problem.

These hooks are absolutely perfect for our outdoor Hamic here in Florida. One went into a large pine and another into a coconut palm. They feel very strong and sturdy and hold quite well. Appear to be good quality material and build. They hold my weight with ease (220). Definitely worth about $10 if you Don’t want tree straps up in your own backyard all the time.

I love using this hook set. I used it to hang my camping hammock indoors for use throughout the whole year. I’m currently writing this review from my hammock with my newborn lying on my chest...she’s a big fan of the hooks as well! I highly recommend. The only drawback to consider is that there’s only one lag screw per hook, so they swivel a bit when you first climb into your hammock or swing. I imagined they would stay upright, but they don’t. Not a huge problem unless you’re particular about the aesthetics of them in your house.

This is the best way in my opinion to set up your hammock. It is an easy install and best for your trees as you will only drill one hole into the tree and the tree will heal around your bolt.

La estructura del gancho sujetador es muy buena calidad sin embargo los tornillos que lo acompañan no son de buena calidad que se caparon al apretarlos, tuve que ir a homedepot por un par de 5/16 y con eso solucione el problema.

Bien producto. El problema que tuve fue que el arnés es muy pequeño, no entra la punta de la hamaca. Lo solucioné con un pedazo de cadena
