Perfect blues box
I like small blues guitars. I already had a Gibson L-1 Robert Johnson, which is a perfectly nice guitar. Then I played this one in a local music store. The difference was amazing. The Adirondack top makes it sing--really sing. Highs, meds, lows: all are well balanced. And the construction is impeccable. Of my acoustic guitars (8), this ties for my favorite, along with a Martin HD-28. Anyway, a very, very good guitar. However, these small parlor guitars kind of fill a certain niche. If someone wants a big, boomy sound, get a dreadnaught or grand concert or jumbo. But if you are looking for an amazing blues guitar, this fits the bill.

Best from Gibson!
This one of the finest small body guitars Gibson has ever produced. Craftsmanship is first class. Tone woods are fantastic. It really projects a strong clear tone with super treble and resonant bass with a solid mid-range. A keeper.
