I loved this book! It was a little dry in spots, as the author really liked exploring the business behind Simons decision-making.If you're looking for gossip and scandal, you are not going to find it here. The author did a great job integrating Mr. Cowells personal life with his business ventures. Nothing too tawdry about this book, unauthorized yes, but certainly filtered through the publicist for sure. Pictures were great.

I read snippits of this book in The Sun newspaper and decided to purchase the full version.Whilst some of the stories portrayed are just too bizarre to be believed, you do get an insight into the mindset of Cowell. His mannerisms which evolved due to fame and fortune and the difficult times he went through to get to the stardom he now has.I would take the content with a pinch of salt as much of it, I am sure, would not be admitted by Simon and is therefore not 100% reliable. However, that said, a great and entertaining read well worth a few quid.

I wouldn't have thought Simon needed so much help to maintain his good looks! Always thought women were the vane ones!! Having said that - Simon has perseverance where most of us would have given up. With his wealth of knowledge in the music world he deserves all the happiness he can get from his other wealth (money, that is)! By the way Amazon, your Kindle product is ideal for some of us with eye problems - also as a gift to friends and family with eye problems.
