Cruise control on old bike?
I read abit about this control before purchase and it had mixed reviews. But wanted something to help me with my throttle hand as suffering from bad sprain. Firstly this is not like a car cruise control and to be honest it looks like a pair of sissors gone wrong 😁I only use it on dual carriageway and motorways. Very easy to fit only one rubber ring over throttle then you slide the controller over the rubber ring. The controller rests on top of your brake lever as far too the left hand side of the throttle as you can comfortably get it. Their is a small tension knob on the controller and this allows you to set the pressure. It does work but you do have to adjust as your gradient changes but after a short time you'll master it. It's not perfect but for a simple device it does the job required and not stupidly expensive and not much to go wrong. Please use with care and remember your responsible for when you and how you use it.It not for everyone but it did help me so thanks.

Don't expect too much.
Ok for holding the throttle on if you need to do a zip up on your jacket, or give your hand a quick stretch, but not much else.Still ok for the price, just don't expect too much out of it.

Supprisingly good
It works surprisingly well. Probably won't use it daily but would definitely be handy for a trip that has some motorway. If you use the runner ring included it runs really smoothly on the grip and had no issues rolling off the throttle. Of you didn't use this it might stick open. It does mean you have a runner ring to leave on your grips between uses which is probably the only down side

Well made
Well made, but not so sure I will actually use. Will give it a try come summer.

It works,
It works quite well, only thing is the original one has a rubber coating along the edge that rests on the brake lever but at a quarter of the price, I’m happy.

Great bit of kit
For the price, this is excellent easy to fit and use, takes a few attempts to get torque right but can be done on the move, gives the right arm and wrist a break while riding without losing speed.

easy to use
Nice, simple and easy to use. Thin enough not to get in the way, and allows you to take a rest on the bars whist maintaining braking and rolling off the throttle when required. you wouldn't be able to do 100 miles on cruise but it does enable you to do a minute of 2 without slowly slowing down.

Great motorway aid
Easy to fit and use. Makes long motorways much easier, did 600 miles in 2 days that I couldn’t have managed without it
