I bought this mat for the kitchen counter and it works excellently. It is the perfect size for most kitchen counters, and is not very bulky. It absorbs all of the water from the dishes we set on it and it dries out very quickly. When it starts to look dirty we just rinse it out and it looks great again. I bought one for a family member after ours worked so well and they love it and use it all the time now.

2ND REVIEW, 1ST BELOW:I love these mats, have ordered them several times. I only wish they had different choices in color/design and the grey diamond pattern I have been ordering is not available at this time.Anyway these are awesome, they not move/slip around, super absorbent, washable and waterproof, spills can be quickly and successfully removed with dish soap and your dish cloth, and look nice on the counter for when you're handwashing a few dishes/pots and pans that will be put away soon. Hate the look of dish drainers on the counter.CARE & WASHING:I highly recommend you wash these by themselves, on gentle, even its only one, and air dry. They will last longer, as the rubbing against other fabrics increases the nubs and pills, which make them unsightly.I have used a battery operated fabric shaver to remove them to get longer wear out of them. I don't think these will ever wear out, just become unattractive after awhile.I HAVE DISCOVERED A COUPLE OF USES FOR THESE WHEN THEY BECOME TOO WORN OR UNSIGHTLY:THEY ARE GREAT FOR UNDER PET WATER BOWLS AS THEY ARE WATERPROOF. WE HAVE LAMINATE FLOORS AND IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL, WATER LEFT ON THE FLOOR OR UNDER THE BOWL WILL MAKE THE LAMINATE SWELL.SECOND USE I FOUND FOR THESE WAS FOR ON TOP OF OUR NEW WASHER AND DRYER TO KEEP THEM FROM GETTING SCRATCHED!FIRST REVIEW:Love this drying mat! Hard to believe such a thin felt like/waterproof backed product absorbs so well, you don't even know it's had anything wet put on it. If you still coffee/food on it by accident, it wipes up clean (especially if you see it right away.) This mat 'DOES NOT MOVE AROUND AT ALL" stays in place. I hate the looks of plastic dish drainers cluttering up the counter. I don't own one, i'd have to take it out, put it away, or leave it on the counter. This looks nice on my counter even with nothing on it (square diamond squares/gray) We use dishwasher atleast 3 times a week, we handwash pots, pans and large baking dishes that drip dry on this mat. You can't even tell it's wet.I forgot to tell my husband not to put it in the dryer, as recommended, but it turned out ok. I ordered this, and at first I wasn't sure if I would like the large size. I thought that it would be too big. Well, I actually love it! It's so nice to have extra room, and many times I've been grateful for that. It also seems quite absorbent, and is prettier than some as well. The only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five was that it's advertised as machine washable, but I would not do that. I put it in the washing machine, and it ended up with some pilling and just doesn't look as nice. I suggest hand washing it, and just hanging to dry, and then it will hopefully look better much longer.

The area where I keep the coffee pot and pods was kind of messy and drab. I got this mat in kind of a sunburst pattern intending to cut a piece for under my Keurig coffee maker but when I saw the striking design I used the entire mat and it looks fantastic! Now the kitchen island has a distinctive area for coffee and it's so pretty and organized. Take a minute to look through all the patterns and colors, the selection is wonderful and the product is well made, absorbent and will protect your counters. I'm so happy I got this product!

This is the second time I have purchased this product because it works so well. It looks great and dries quickly. Better than others that I have purchased in the past.

Pro: the extra large size is great! However, after one wash, I couldn't continue to use it. I got the white one and tossed it in the wash after several days of use. I air dried it and noticed it was covered in lint. It apparently picked up a bunch of hair and rogue lint in the washer. I tried a lint roller. I tried a solo wash. All that lint makes it look unsanitary.

I got this for the top of my dryer to keep my dryer sheets boxes in place. It works perfect for that and other things I set on top. Nothing slides off. I cut it to fit the size I wanted. I used a yard stick to measure and mark the back side of the cover before cutting it with scissors to make sure it is even. I don't know about the absorbency because I am not using it for drying dishes or anything wet. I didn't need to fold it for anything and I haven't washed it yet, so I cannot rate that part either. I am happy with my purchase.

This dishmat is very large and covers more area. If I lived alone, I would not need a dish drainer. Worth it to me. I also love the deep blue color.

I'm an idiot who forgot to put a coffee mug under my Keurig today. Luckily the drip tray caught most of it. When the drip tray overflowed, this nifty little mat sucked up every last drop. I have an electrical outlet directly below my Keurig so if it weren't for this mat I would have probably spent most of the day worrying about whether my outlet was going to short out, start a fire or shock me. Great purchase.
