Surprisingly great quality for the price!
I purchased this product as a backup and for the height being that I am 6'4''. After receiving the tripod yesterday I took it out of the package to see the quality. The first piece I pulled out was the monopod, and I was very impressed with the quality. After pulling the tripod out I was a little hesitant about how light it was, but after extending it all the way and placing my canon T3i on it it blew my mind how sturdy it was on a hard surfaces. One downside is that it is a little unstable on carpeted surfaces and would be better if the base would open a little more. I feel this is a good stand as a backup or if you have a low budget for camera gear with the intent on upgrading in the future.

Good value and seem pretty sturdy
Good value and seem pretty sturdy. I am 5'9" and standing up the middle post was only partially extended and it had a lot of height left to take elevated/down shots. Wish the pan head was a little bit smoother but what do you want for $30. The monopod , quick release was a bonus. Nylon cases good for storage but I never use them when out shooting.

Get Outta Town!
I...l like it... This is a great starter tripod and it comes with a monopod?!?!Psh!Only downside is the grinding noise it makes when you pedestal up on it, but other than that the tripod is tits! Just don't plan on running any audio when you pedestal up.Monopod is tighter than a dolphin's buttcheeks! Great deal!

Great tripod for a beginner
Great tripod for a beginner. It is a little cheap/flimsy but for an armature it's good enough. I will be upgrading to a better quality one after maybe a year with this. The camera doesn't sit perfectly level so you have to adjust the knob but for the most part it's good.

An OKAY product for the price.
It has a strong build but not strong to leave my camera on it unattended; I loved the bonus - the monopod - it appears to have a stronger build than the tripod; it would have been nice if they were compatible - used the same shoe-mount.

Just get the kind that only has a manual up and down the crank is useless, you have to lock it in place anyway
The crank mechanism is flimsy and doesn't work so well. Just get the kind that only has a manual up and down the crank is useless, you have to lock it in place anyway. I can't imagine the crank handle not getting broken off soon.

You get what you pay for. Stay away from this seller/product
What can I say, you get what you pay for, right? The top of the tripod is busted, I'm trying to fix it with gorilla glue right now because I don't have time to return this and get a new one. Thanks a lot guys! You would think they would check this in the factory before they package itโฆ My assumption is that this one was a returned one after someone broke it and they just shipped it out to me. Who knows? What a piece of crap. The monopod is holding up so far.It came with bags for both the monopod and the tripod, but did not come with an extra base screw in piece like it says it will in the add.
