Taymor Antique Oval Mirror Trays, Gold

I bought this for my mother for Christmas. I was looking for something affordable, since I really only wanted it as a component of a larger idea that I had. Every year for Christmas and Mother's Day I buy her some type of perfume, to the point where she now has bottles scattered everywhere. This year I thought it would be nice to include something to help her pool them together. She had one of these trays years ago that actually was an antique, but she lost it in a move about 5 years ago. Ordering online, I was worried about the size dimensions, but this is exactly what I was looking for. I'd say it's medium-sized. To give you a better idea, last I saw it, she had four large bottles and four miniatures scattered around it, and that took up only around half of the space. It's not too large to fit cozily on a dresser without being garish, and not so small that it looks better suited for a child. Aesthetics-wise, it has an authentic look to me. Granted, I'm no auctioneer, but I find the detailing of the flowers quite nice, and the luster of the silver pleasing to the eye. It also has a nice, sturdy weight. Great quality for the low price.

This tray is quite nice but a lot smaller than expected, I use it to place my cologne on the bedroom dresser. So far looks good and does the job.

I purchased this thinking it would be more "golden" in color, but it is really dark and bronze looking. Nonetheless, I kept it because it matches the decor and is really large (it holds a soap dispenser, lotion dispenser, toothbrush holder and cup! purchased from Anna's Linens). Not bad for $26.87! I liked it so much (despite the color) that I am going to get another! Well worth the price!

Looks attractive on my dresser. * Good quality of mirror, gold painted floral design on frame is attractive. * Gold floral pattern on frame is a painted resin, not plaster of paris or metal and is lightweight and strong. * Bottom of tray has a piece of black rubberized felt material to protect your tabletop from scratching. The tray is smaller than I thought it would be, and I wish it was offered in a little larger size to hold all my stuff. I have attached some images to show how it appears and its measurements.

This is so so so beautiful! It is very strong and sturdy! Absolutely eye catching antique gold roses, and good quality mirror makes it look like royalty vanity tray sitting on my desk. It is quite large, it fits almost all my lotions and perfumes. this was such a great buy. The oval shape gives it more character and elegance. I would purchase another one for my sister if the price was not too high.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she loved it. It was a little smaller than I had imagined, and the color didn't exactly look like what was on the box. The box showed an antiqued, almost coppery color, but it was actually just silver. Still very pretty though. The roses around the mirror are lovely. She loves roses, so it was perfect for her. I would recommend this item.

I loveere it already. I'm just waiting on my vanity to get here now. I just wanted this piece to look pretty and hold a few perfumes. I Dont think its "cheaply" made as everyone keeps saying, but I def agree its not worth 30 dollars for the gold/pink color. It should be 20 at the highest but its pretty and either way if you get it or someone sees it then are going to be like oh where'd you get it. I like it and I think it'd really pretty in person. I have the antique/pink one. I'm really just waiting on my vanity now.

Beware of the thickness of the tray from the base. It looks bulky and cheap when examined up close. Looks better on picture, but when you put it on your vanity surrounded by perfumes, looks fine.

I bought two of these oval trays for my vanity side tables and they exceeded my expectations. They are very high quality, black fabric-lined at the bottom and the pewter-coloured roses have a lot of detail. They appear much more expensive than they are and would fit in well with a Victorian/antique-themed room.
