Unable to insert filter. According to the directions, filter is to pressed gently into the lid. IT DOES NOT FIT!!!! looks like we will have to return them. After giving a low rating, the company contacted me with this response:Dear GeraldI regret to see the negative suggestion you left for our product.the filter fit the lid. You must prize the white Leakproof device off the mounting hole. I like my water bottle, BUT the only reason I even knew how to put the filter in was because of a review on it. The directions did not say to remove a piece to make it fit. Fix the directions that come with this bottle. You may get better ratings in the future

Agyer shopping arlund for several collapsible water bottles, I ordered this product for a trip overseas and it turned out to be a disaster. The bottle leaked several times. The first time on the 9 hour flight to my destination. We were soaked for the entire trip. We tried to give it several other tries but all was unsuccessful. Unfortunately I ordered this product a month before my trip and the return window closed. Now I am stuck with three defective products because I purchased one for each of the members I was traveling with. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The water is difficult to come out and the bottle leaks. It is unstable and collapses with the water in it causing massive leaks.

This bottle is completely defective. The filter doesn't snap in, so it falls out all the time. When it is in, it barely lets water pass through. Get a bottle that's very similar (there's many on Amazon that are essentially identical) without the filter. I bought a different one that I love.

This was a great addition to our trip to Europe. It’s can be a bit heavy when full and slow expelling, a little squishy but I am so glad I got it! & would again, I had a lot of people comment how cool it was that it folded up. I will stay the folding strapped doesn’t seem super sturdy. But good valuable and lived up to standards, all the water was filtered & good tasting quality no matter the source. Extremely great value for travelers!!

This did not work. Filter does not insert. I did not read the reviews before ordering. My fault I guess. I usually do. Now I see all of the reviews are the same. Amazon can’t you control this type of product being sold. Your stock is great and continues to soar.I tried the product with the top being removed. It worked now thanks. There is no hollow fiber membrane at all it only has activated carbon and cotton to filter the water. Hollow fiber membrane can remove 99.99% of waterborne bacteria so without it the bottle is only good for removing chlorine taste out of tap water. I bought it for my travel to Asia but am hesitant to use it now because it would be too risky to get sick.

It's really portable, rolls up small, so easy to carry anywhere. Also includes a charcoal filter. The only thing I don't like about it is when the bottle is full and you are drinking from it, it is very flimsy. Portability outweighs the flimsiness, but couldn't give it a 5.
