If you have been told that you don't assimilate Folic Acid well and that you should try this different version, it can make a huge difference to the way you feel, there are symptoms that I have had for quite a while that I have felt improve by taking this more "digestible" formula. (I put the word digestible in quotes because it is not really about digestion but is about assimilation, yet most people think of them as the same thing).The way that my Dr recommended that I find the correct dose, under his supervision, was to start by taking 3mcg in the morning for a week. Make notes on any negative symptoms that you notice either disappearing or appearing. After a week if you haven't felt jittery or more anxious than usual (your own nutritionist or Dr can tell you whet else you might notice) add 1mcg every morning for anotger week. Keep going until you both feel you have reached the right amount. More is not always better, most people top out at 5mcg daily.That being said, I bought this higher dose on accident so held onto it until I had worker up to it.I had no idea that so much of how I felt was being dictated by a lack of my body and brain getting this little B vitamin! I was in pretty bad shape after having been given a prescription long term that was actually toxic for me and I did not just have tingling in my hands and feet, but constant pins and needles throughout my entire body all the time. That feeling is 90% resolved for me, as is some of my depression from being Bi-Polar type 2 (the depressed kind) but allergic to the medications that were prescribed.This doesn't fix everything, but can be amazingly helpful IF you know that you are naturally low on Folic acid. Your Dr can do a consultation and blood test to find out.Again this is a high dose and starting at this level might not be the best idea, talk with your Dr before experimenting as you can make yourself feel worse if you take too much.For me, this has been a wonderful find

Some other brands are extremely overpriced, and this very affordable. I also used to take the hard pill variant of another brand, but these capsules are much better to swallow. I have a gene deficiency, and can feel the benefits immediately after daily use. It’s even more apparent on the days I forget to take it!

I am a somewhat cynical buyer of supplements and vitamins, and with good reason. I have found one company that seemed to have the best price for quantity on ________ listed as 10mg, when in fact it was 4mg softgels. The product was real because they purchased from the manufacturer, but they were selling the low dose as high dose. A national chain selling Buy one get one free Vitamin C turned out to have no Vitamin C, University of Berlin tested the DNA of Over 100 Herbal products sold in Europe and found 80% had no trace of what was advertised. So, short of lab testing and having researched the offerings this products seems the best buy. I also rely on intuition and that is way more reliable than Herbal Supplement labeling. I hope I'm right.

My son is 5 and was recommended to take this supplement for MTHFR genetic mutations. We didn't want another gummy vitamin for him, didn't find many options for kids in the dose that was recommended, and tried several other capsules. We open and dump this into water and it dissolves easily, no clumps, don't even need to stir. He drinks it no issues and no complaints of poor taste. Glad we found this brand and will continue to buy.

It is effectively for the purpose that his doctor wanted him to take the pills for.

I have that mutant gene where I can't process folate in my body very well (I know there are others like me). My doctor recommended supplements with the actual folate and not folic acid (folic acid is also harder for me to absorb). I've been testing out various brands, and I have to say, DSO has an amazing product. I was so happy to find more dosages available than just 1mg (I feel like I need a higher dose, and 2.5mg has been great so far). I think the one thing that amazes me the most about DSO's folate capsules is the simple and short ingredients: Folate, Vegetable Capsule, and Soluble Corn Fiber. That's it! I love being able to have less extra things being put into my body. I wish they made all my pills. lol. The capsule is also easy to swallow (for me), and has no taste or smell.

This is an expensive supplement that is supposed to help with "mood, sleep, concentration, hormone support, and energy."I have not been taking it for very long but so far have experienced no side effects. I'm also not sure how beneficial it is. However, I will report back after taking it at least 2-4 weeks. My own research indicates this is how long it will take before the supplement shows results.

Some of my family members have been on a more expensive brand for a few years. We changed to this brand and seems equally effective! Thank you for providing a quality product at a reasonable price!
