BadiaSazon Tropical (no MSG), 3.52-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

I like that I purchased it in bulk at a value bargain price ! Most people don't realize that for many years most of the other products in this line of food seasoning has M.S.G. (Monosodium Glutamate).I personally don't want MSG in my foods as an added ingredient so I purchased this from Amazon and have been purchasing this product instead for many years because in big letters on the front of the box that reads "NO MSG" - nuff said.

I use Sazon in most dishes, I didn't want to keep using Goya Sazon because of the MSG in it so I found Badia Sazon. It has a good flavor, if you are used to the Goya brand this one is not as red so the color is a little different but it does not affect flavor. Also Badia Sazon is not as fine as Goya so you need to make sure it dissolves. Overall it is a great product. Latin Products shipped product out fast.

I love the fact that there is no MSG in this product and the food tastes fantastic! I put it into almost everything I cook!

Great to finally have my Sazon without the MSG! It does everything the Goya sazon does without the harmful MSG.

Badia Sazon in the red package has annatto, that yellow spice that makes your Latin rice dishes yellow. The big brands of "sazon" which is basically onion, garlic powders and salt and some other spices all have MSG, which not only is not good for you, it makes that processed food taste that is boring and not all that great. I avoid MSG and I FINALLY found this sazon. I found I only had to use half a packet because it was rather salty and I got good yellow rice, but not so intensely yellow. If that is an issue for you, just add some annatto in addition to this sazon. The taste was excellent, however.Not all Badia's spice powders are MSG-free. There are some in bottles that have MSG, so you have to read the ingredients. But these packets, so useful for quick Latin recipes, are MSG free and very good!

Excellent choice to make "arroz con gandules" or any typical Puerto Rican stew. Adds great flavor and best of all its MSG free.

It shouldn't be difficult to cook great meals without relying on MSG and this seasoning mix allows for just that.Thank you TheLatinProducts for providing this!Otherwise I would have to sort out the appropriate proportions of all the various spices to get the right taste, and depending on brand the different spices the taste might be stronger or weaker and not provide as good a result.
