Battery Tender 800 022-0150-DL-WH Weatherproof Charger

I use my Battery Tender for my stand by generator battery and have another for my boat battery. They work great for devices where the battery is accessible and has terminals to attach the leads. For other devices, like my jump start box and power tools, I found a device on Amazon called Charge-O-Matic. Its a long term timer that I plug each device into. I set it to come on every 30 days for 8 hours, and all my devices with internal lithium rechargeable batteries stay charged up and ready to use without damaging the battery by overcharging.

Have owned one of these for a boat and it did job through winter easily and efficiently. Boat recently had a lot of water in it -- charger was not attached but was completely submerged in water -- and after drying it out, it started up again. (the other one which was not designed to be water resistant did not!). So clearly the design and construction worked. It's a simple construction, easy to use, and does its job. I just purchased a second one to replace the other unit (different brand) which failed when it got wet.

I give four stars, despite the fact that this particular version does not work! Here is why:The label on the unit clearly reads “INPUT: 100-240V.” Besides, it is this label that differentiates it from its otherwise identical twin which is labeled as “INPUT: 110Vac”: Battery Tender 022-0150-DL-WH 800 Battery Charger. Furthermore, this international voltage version is more expensive, suggesting that further circuits are added in order to cope with multi-voltage inputs. Therefore, I assumed that paying the premium would allow me to get the version which would work outside the USA. I got it delivered to the hotel where a friend of mine was staying at as a tourist in the USA. I had the bad surprise once he returned home, at the other side of the ocean. This unit did not work. No light of any color went on, any smoke, no smell of melted electronics… Nothing happened. It just did not work.The good surprise, however, was that I got a full refund without return, including the shipping cost to the hotel in Orlando, FL. I could not imagine a better way of compensation because returning it would not be an option for me, given the way I got it.As for the four stars rating; this is not simply due to the excellent compensation I got. I have two more of them, working flawlessly for many years. I had purchased both of them from the Harley Davidson distributor in Turkey. Both are labeled Harley Davidson but they are the exact same Battery Tender units. I know for sure because I had investigated who the manufacturer was, and then; which one of the various models available through Battery Tender was in question before buying them from a motorcycle company. Needless to say, due to being distributed by Harley Davidson Europe, they both work at 220V mains. I am so satisfied with their performance that I attempted to get the third one from Amazon, hoping to save the extra premium over the Harley Davidson logo on the exact same Battery Tender unit. I failed but I got properly compensated by the seller and promptly notified by Amazon on my claim. I could not be less disappointed!All in all, those who live on “the proper side of the ocean” can rest assured that if the 110V versions work on 110V as good as the 220V versions work on 220V; this unit will keep any lead-acid battery, from 28Ah AGM motorcycle batteries to 80Ah sealed car batteries full, without cooking them (as cheaper clones do), even if it is left connected for many months.

Item arrived quickly, was double boxed for protection. These are great battery maintainers and are simple to set up and operate. You'll never have a dead battery again.

I'm sorry I waited so long to invest in this. They make one for indoor and one for outdoor so contact their customer service to sort that out, as well as what type of an extension cord. My car, parked outside, starts right up.

If you park your vehicle for an extended period of time, or drive short distances where the battery does not fully charge, or any othertime you need a trickle charge, this is the charger you are looking for.I have this on each of my vehicles. In the bitter winter here in the NW, I plug the charger in at nightalong with the engine heater, to quickly and humanely start the engine in the morning.When I park my vehicle for extended periods of time I plug it in to condition and keep charged, the vehicle'sbattery.This is a multi-function charger that desulfinates, conditions, and charges the batteries.I have used one on an Optima red and yellow battery, a deep discharge Trojan battery, both sealed and standard add-water batteries,all with excellent results.There are two substantial cords with this unit. From the unit to the battery is a cord about 5 feet long. At the end is asliding connection for the alligator clips or the eye connectors for the battery.Going the other way is a 5 foot long cord to plug into an outlet.I used both battery connections depending upon the need. In many vehiclesI permanently mount the unit to a compartment sidewall and run the electricalcord out the front of the vehicle so I can easily get to it.

It took longer than I thought it would to indicate a fully charged battery on my day old new one. None the less by the next morning the red was replaced with a solid green with my voltmeter indicating 12.65 V

今乗っているハーレーFXDLは、バッテリーが上がるとエンジンの始動ができないどころか、走行中でもエンストする。バッテリーが駄目にならないようにするためにもバッテリーテンダーはハーレーには必需品です。以前使用していたバッテリーテンダー(1.25A)が駄目になったので、買い換えです。800mAでも十分充電できてます。
