ViriLife Naturals Optim-Eyes High Potency Vision Support Formula, 60 Capsules

I have to admit, I wasn't sure what to expect from this vision support supplement so I made a point of getting my usual routine eye exam before ordering and spoke with my opthalmologist about my recent vision concerns and my thoughts on trying this product. After much consideration I decided to give it a try.....and I must say....it's one of the BEST decisions I've made for my vision health this year! I have experienced overall vision improvement along with a 90% improvement of my most recent vision concerns. I will continue my daily use of Optim-Eyes along with the added supplement Astaxanthin as an added antioxidant protective. This is a great product and as a long time supplement researcher and consumer I would highly recommend.

don't waste your money

I tried this product a month ago. I was using Pharmacists Eye AntiOxidant for several years. I have torn retinas and macular degeneration does run in the family. These were terrific vitamins, price, ingredients, etc. They went out of business when bigger companies started producing eye vitamins. The AntiOxidant kept mom from going blind earlier than expected according to her opthamalogist.I searched for eye vitamins with similar ingredients on the bottle as AntiOxidant. Luetin, billberry, zeaxathin. There were more ingredients, but I couldn't match the two eye vitamins 100%. Occassionally, my eyes hurt, and both the AntiOxidant and the Optim Eyes did relieve the pain. This may not be the same with you. I wish the former product that I was using w/come back. It was excellent. Price was about 10.00/per month.So many of the eye vitamins are lacking in at least one of the 4 main ingredients that I've listed above.The price is too high for a month's worth of eye vitamins. I've thought about buying the ingredients separately and then adding the rest of the ingredients with a multi vitamin and mineral source. Jesus Heals.Cindy

Last year a 145 patient Italian clinical trial called CARMIS reported significantly improved vision after 2 years on patients who had macular degeneration.The formula they used was just like this one, but with 3 mg more astaxanthin. For some reason American doctors have ignored that study and continued giving the old AREDS formula which produced much weaker results. I just started taking Optim-eyes along with additional astaxanthin. I hope it works as well as the study didHere is what the CARMIS study reported,"Patients in the treated group showed stabilization of VA (visual acuity) with significantly (p=0.003) better VA scores (81.4 ± 7.2) compared to the nontreated group (76.8 ± 8.9) at 24-month follow-up. An improvement in CS (contrast sensitivity) (p=0.001) and final mean NEI VFQ-25 composite scores at 12 and 24 months higher in treated group compared to nontreated group were also shown (p<0.001)."(The p numbers show a 1/1000 probability that the result was pure chance due to the small trial)[...]Sorry! These upset my stomach. Too bad!

To be honest, I haven't experienced any dramaticchange, and I don't believe they work until you'veused them for some time. This is my second bottle,and I'm not sure yet. But, I'm guessing it can't hurt tokeep taking them to stave off more site deterioration.

I've been on this supplement for almost a year. My ophthalmologist recommended that I take an eye specific supplement, due my family history of wet macular degeneration. I did my homework, and found that this one includes the AREDS Study 1 & 2 formulation. Drug store supplements can't match this supplement for formulation or price. I noted an improvement in night vision over the last few months, which I can't fully or partially attribute to this supplement, of course, but I believe it is contributing. As long as I maintain the status of my eye health, I will keep taking this supplement.

I have tired stinging eyes not to mention worsening eyesight. I have been taking this supplement for 5 mos now and just went for my checkup I thought my eyesight has worsened again. But one eye is better and the other is the same except the astigmatism in it has moved. Never been told that before. I'm just happy they aren't tired.And not worse.
