Rondo Stainless Steel Scale

Love this scale and use it every morning to measure coffee. The backlight and large font make it easy to read in the early morning, and the controls are very simple to use. It's also easy to clean. It turns off after only a few minutes, so sometimes it's easy to lose track of weight if you are juggling a lot of tasks (for example making pour over coffee while getting ready in the morning). Sometimes it behaves oddly, maybe if water gets inside or if the batteries are weak.

This is the second Escali scale I've had. I returned the first one because it did not measure accurately. I thought perhaps it was defective, so I exchanged it for another one. This scale is supposed to measure as little 0.5 grams. It doesn't work! I've tried numerous times to place a small bowl on the scale, zero it out, and add yeast to measure 0.5 grams (for pizza dough). The scale never leaves the 0.0 mark -- and I've filled the small bowl full of dry yeast! I've tried measuring flour and it does appear to be weighing the flour, but I don't feel like I can trust it since it cannot accurately measure 0.5 grams of yeast. I would not recommend this scale. You can't trust it. I waited too long to use the scale since my purchase and now the return window is closed, otherwise I would return it!

Purchased less than a year ago. The stainless steel bowl has started splitting; see photo. The scale seems to work OK for me, but the bowl is not very durable. I've not put it in the dishwasher, so I don't think that heat has anything to do with the issue.

Was a Christmas gift. They loved it

I use this for baking. I find it frustrating when trying to weigh 6 grams or less of an ingredient. When I only need 6 grams of salt for a dough, I have to add more (like 20 grams) and then take away until I get to 6. It makes me worried that this scale is not accurate. My past gram scales for baking never had this problem.

the ounce feature doesnt work. only lbs and ounces together

I ordered this to replace my Escali Primo scale that after many years the button functionality started going. Since that scale worked great for so long I had high hopes for this model, but unfortunately it had too many issues. The display would randomly change unit of measure on its own. It would also turn itself on if you merely brushed the side of the device, no where even near the power button. The auto shut off was also inconsistent, if it even worked at all. When it did work properly it was accurate and had nice features. Maybe I just received a defective one, but I returned it and am trying another brand.

broke after 2 years, not repairable at all either the scale started to weigh inaccurately, going into negatives when adding ingredients, and was buggy during the entire time (shutting off randomly, tare-ing the weight randomly) do not recommend at all

Sencilla, cómoda, cumple muy bien, vamos excelente.

It works, but there are two big irritations: 1. When using it for baking, it doesn't really work at all for things like dry yeast, because it does't seem to register when adding something light, slowly, at less than 5 grams or so. 2. It takes more than a second for it to arrive at the final weight. Which means I constantly go over. The blue backlight colour really clashes with the red.

So far this scale is everything I've been looking for. I love that it has a bowl that comes with it and find the design to be sleek and elegant. Feels like great quality and can't wait to excessively use it in my new home!

Well made, easy to clean bowl which fits over scale for storage. Seems to be accurate. Light on measuring scale could be a little brighter.
