FACTORY ORIGINAL OEM AGITATOR CAM KIT FOR ULTIMATE CARE II WHIRLPOOL MAYTAG ESTATE WASHERS by "Factory, OEM"

My washer broke about 5 years ago. I kept it to fix in order to have 2 machines. I learned that i don't like new machines. Most don't come with an agitator and it doesn't really 'wash' clothes very well. Most clothes are clean, but just stinky from BO. throw in some soiled mechanics clothes or kids dirty clothes from the outside and using a new machine... the clothes come out dirty. At times we open the lid and the clothes haven't changes spots.... so we believe in old fashion cork screws/agitator style washer because we believe it mimics pushing the clothes against a rock like in the olden days. it presses the clothes downwards and against the walls of the washer.This is the second machine i fixed and it's always the dog ears. I don't know if we over loaded the machine or if it's just time, but the parts are cheap and easy to replace. you might see some scary things in the washer, but it's just old soap... clean it all up, and before you know, you have a like new machine.I recommend going OEM when possible. all the parts fit good.

The hardest part of the operation was to separate the agitator, so the moral of the story is to have the agitator removed and cleaned before the part arrives.After removal I turned it upside down and sprayed WD40 around the center of the agitator and left it for 10 mins or so. Stand on the lower agitator and give it a sharp pull.with one hand over the hole to stop the parts flying off in different directions. Put this kit together with the dogs , snap the yellow cap over the top and pop it down the hole rotating until it falls into the cogs and give it a push to snap it into place. Three minutes and you have a virtually new washing machine. Parts as advertised and very quick to ship , great experience all round.

The clear base was far more flimsy that the original in the machine and the yellow base was weak and mis-shaped. The only parts I ended up using were the four little arms, but those seem to be made of plastic that was less hard than the true OEM parts. I doubt this kit is really OEM and if it is, the quality has come down significantly in the last decade since my machine was made. This part is super easy to change out.

Just as promised. Note - most of the time the only part that actually requires replacement are the 4 "clutch dogs", which can be purchased separately.

This product was reasonably priced and effective in fixing my washers agitator. It was a super easy install and now my washer is working like new again.

Appears to be solidly manufactured and is made of good quality materials. Dimensions and fit are perfect. Installation is as easy as how it’s described on Youtube.

Nice product, fit perfectly in my Whirlpool washer, appears to be genuine (not always the case with some of the shady Amazon sellers.)

Restored agitator ratchet function - old failed parts seemed inferior - these are either improvements or just better!
