Good product. It is, though, a LARGE hat rack (like it says)
Good product, very easy to assemble. Mine came with all the bolts loosely attached to the part they would go on so none were missing or not fitting - smart and convenient. It comes with a hex tightener, for the screws that hold the 3 vertical sections together, but you will need a little wrench (about 10 mm on my metric set) to tighten the holder arms. The circular hat holders are better than pegs, but might not fit perfectly into every hat, so there may be some upward pressure on the top of the crown for indented crowns. I splurged the $10 for the dark brown, definitely worth it, it's a nice dark bronze-y color. But it is, as advertised, big. Good in that it fits all my best hats (20+, since caps can be stacked.). Hard to fit in my non-Texas size house. Because the hat holders go out to all 4 quadrants, the distance across the thing (diameter including the hat holders) is about 21". If the hats have 3" brims, add 6" to that. So you cant tuck it up against a wall (I suppose you could leave out 5 of the hat holders/racks so that it could be a little closer to the wall. The 20" base is kind of minimal for the height, width, weight and number of holders, and the base might not be perfectly level, so it might be a bit shaky on a rug. On a hard floor it seems fine, a tiny bit of wobble, but it doesn't go tipping over if you dont lurch into it. Possibly if you came home from the local pub drunk and slammed a hat onto it, it could tip, and that would be a mess. All those nice hats! But you wouldn't do that, would you? I mean, even if you're drunk, your'e going to be careful putting your hat away, right? So if you're a man of many hats, like me, it fits them all, holds them nicely, easy to grab a hat on the go, and displays them nicely too.Addendum. It turns out that the little legs which came pre-attached to the bottom of the base, are adjustable. So no wobble, it can be adjusted to be stable.

Hat Rack used as Wig Rack - Easy to put together
One of the brackets were bent and if I would have tried to bend it back in place the weld would have broke. This wouldn’t attach to the pole so I contacted the company for a replacement bracket. I didn’t see the need to send the entire unit back. They said the would ship me a new bracket and I could expect it within a week or so. To my surprise within a few days, they shipped me a brand new replacement unit, not just the bracket like I had requested. They also informed me that I didn’t need to send back the damaged one. Great customer service. It’s sturdy enough for hats/wigs, easy to put together, move and rearrange brackets. It would be even better if it came with casters so I could roll it around vs picking up and carrying it but it is lightweight. I feel it’s a little overpriced for what it is but overall solid product.

It fits my needs.
This was really easy to assemble. It is lightweight enough but has plenty of hoops for all my hats and wigs. The only issue I had was that one of the bolts to secure one of the poles to the base snapped off during assembly, see the picture for reference. So it's not as secure as I would like but it still fits my needs.

HAT COLLECTORS OF FINE WOOL/FELT/STRAW DRESS HATS BE AWARE !
I saw this on Amazon and bought it a few weeks ago.I was amazed at the likeness and similarity it displayedto the racks in a department store, where they sellupscale ladies hats.I have sought out many upscale hats over the last 3 decades.I love hats ! Perhaps I should be in the UK, but do not realize it.I have a weakness for large brimmed, wool hats. Nothing like one when itis a breezy 27 degrees in Ohio !If you have sinus issues, a close fitting wool hat is a perfect, smart fashion and self preservation accessory.A hat can help you out on a bad hair day, or just offer the Haute Couture look we women always seek out !There are hats in every color you could desire, but personally I prefer black wool or felt !If you also love hats, and tend to collect them like myself, then this IS FOR YOU ! I have about 24 hats accumulated over the last 3 decades. I also inherited a lot of hats from my Mum, which are mostly vintage. It was so nice to discover this hat rack on Amazon. It is the perfect item for all of my hats. Each ring, which screws into the center pole, to individuallyhold each dearly loved hat that I own, and The rings to hold each hat are able to be repositioned for hat size or whatever you choose to do to display them. It is sturdy and heavy enough to safely stand alone without any additional support. It took all of about 30 minutes to put the rack together.I recommend you buy one, and would most definitely buy THIS ITEM again, with no remorse. It is priced for quality item, and quite durable. It is a nice, conversation starter in my home office, and so easy to get a hat whenI need one and go out the door. No MORE stacking them into plastic storage boxes which crush them easily over time.

Does its job; doesn't look too bad.
The product, once put together, is as-advertised. It seems to be sturdy enough for a bunch of hats. I like the circular loops on which the hats are hung much better than a regular hook. The bronze color looks pretty decent. I was replacing a wood rack, so I was looking to approximate that.However... They provided a hex key for the screws that hold the central post together. I have lots of those and could probably have found a match. But, they did not provide a wrench for the nuts that hold the wire loops onto the central post and finger tightening was not adequate. As nearly as I can tell, it was a 9mm, which is an odd size. Neither of my socket sets or wrench sets had that size. And none of the SAE (American) sizes fit it either. So that would have been appreciated. As it was, I had to use a pair of pliers that occasionally scratched the finish. Also, the nice little round head is just a cheap metal cap on a regular nut and it easily broke off, which left the bare metal of the nut exposed. So, construction left me a bit dissatisfied.I'd also note the box got really banged up in shipment, which bent the opening on one of the central posts. I had to get a pair of pliers and bend it back out to get it to fit, which also marred the finish. It should have been packaged better.

Perfect
Bought for displaying hats at markets; easy to put together and relatively lightweight. Great purchase for retail or personal use with wigs or hats.

Impressively functional at a fair price!
This product hols 20+ of my wife’s hats. It shipped in excellent time. The price was reasonable. When assembling, I must have tightened the upright shaft to the base a little too much, and stripped the thread on the shaft. This has not affected the stability of the unit, but I include this info so anyone putting one together will be careful to not tighten too much!
