Complete Studio

I put off buying this collection as I already have all their studio albums on black vinyl l, but I decided after buying the greatest hits 1,2&3 box set that I wanted the coloured studio collection aswell they sound amazing and look well and the book contained with-in the package is well presented I wouldn't expect anything less from a Queen release 10/10

I have been a fan of vinyl for all my life and just couldn't resist this box set, even though I have all Queen records in standard edition issues. When I received my first box set I was overwhelmed by the care taken in the packaging and for the genius idea of making the albums in colored vinyl. I have left the box records unplayed for several years until I finally decided I should try them out and proceeded to play the first album. Surprise! The record wouldn't fit the spindle of any of my turntables (too tight). I them tried the other albums and most (but not all!) had the same problem. How to enlarge the center hole without destroying the records became a #1 concern and I found a solution using sharp scissors. Unfortunately, as I was "carefully" carving the hole, my hand slipped and I got a nice and deep scratch on the label and last track of "The Works". That method had clearly not worked, but it got worse! I used another tool to enlarge the center hole and now some of the records have a "loose" fit. In short: get a second box before it's gone from the market. This one will be tested and I will NOT use anything to tamper with the center hole. Now, getting down from my soapbox: if you can afford this box, don't hesitate: purchase it. It's the most beautiful item in my vinyl collection. -Fernando

Having been a fan since the late 70's, I always had an affinity toward Queen. Now, having this collection I feel complete. The quality and presentation are thoughtfully put together in this set and so far, the records I have played through all sound great.

The box set is nice! I really didn’t mess with it to much because I didn’t want to get any thing dirty and wet. The slip cover is also missing which sucks! USPS left my package out in the rain, doesn’t surprise me, people these days don’t care about your package, they just dump it off, as long as they are getting paid I guess. I have had this problem before and actually caught the idiot the last time. He just catapulted my package from the walk up about 5 feet from the porch. Any way, cool vinyl set if your a hard core Queen fan!

Totally a fan of Queen here!!!! So I love it!!!!! Thanks Amazon for the return when the fist one came with some imperfections they were AWESOME!!!!!!Now, maybe some people will think it is to expensive to buy it, yes it is, but like I said before I am a Queen fan and in my eyes has a high value. I am not and audiophile or anything like that but this studio set sounds like heaven, I guess you need a good audio system too but I use a regular (yamaha) 5.1 channels and the sound is amazing. To add it the Color LP .... WOW...... I love it............. the sad part is this USA version does not come with the MP3 codes ......... or maybe was just mine that did not have it. The book..... AMAZING.... (well almost everything they (Queen) throw out there for the fans is gold for me, like I said "almost" everything, the book gives us a little more inside of Queen, some memorabilia, nice stuff to spend some time on it. Over all I love it and any fan of Queen out there should get this.

I love, love, love this box set. It was packaged well and arrived safely and quickly. The music sounds great, but the albums don't all play in the same order. In some cases a single album is even a double album. I am not disappointed by this, but had to get used to it. The colored vinyl is beautiful and makes it fun to play. The sound is crisp and sounds even better when turned up loud! I recommend this to any Queen fan and anyone new to this music will become a Queen fan. There is also a book to follow along with so that you can read about the album while listening to it.

For me this is money well spent. This is one of the best box sets I have ever purchased. It weighs a ton, LOL. I'm not going to bluster on the sound quality or compare them to the original vinyl I have had in my collection for over twenty years, Heck since they came out I bought them new. The colored vinyl is COOL. The book is worth the price alone. Very cool information in the book from Brain and the rest of the band. Yes it is expensive but I do not regret it one bit. If lost or stolen It would be replace immediately. What more can I say I love it !

Es mi primer Boxset de vinilos y que mejor de unas grandes bandas de todos los tiempos y con la discográfica completa, la caja con los vinilos es pesada, el diseño es muy bueno y cuanta con un librito sobre su historia. Si eres fanático de Queen es algo que debes de tener entre tu colección.

Je vais répéter ce qui a été déjà dit mais effectivement ce coffret est splendide. Messieurs May et Taylor, producteurs ne se sont pas moqués de leurs fans. Alors certes le prix pourrait être dissuasif mais au regard de la qualité générale irréprochable, du nombre de vinyles colorés, de la qualité d'impression des pochettes, de la qualité de la mastérisation et celle du livre joint et bien finalement le prix est très ajusté. En comparant les vinyles originaux achetés au moment de leur sortie et la qualité de ceux inclus dans ce coffret, il n'a pas photo !

Premessa : seguo ed AMO i Queen dal 1979 (avevo 14 anni) che restano sin da allora (Queen Live Killers !!!) il mio gruppo preferito.Possiedo già diversi vecchi vinili originali (fino ad “A Kind Of Magic”), purtroppo usurati dal tempo e dalla poca cura dovuta all'adolescenza (soprattutto le copertine) e dagli ascolti anche su impianti con puntine 'indegne' che ne hanno, in alcuni casi, danneggiato l’ascolto.Con il tempo, per motivi vari, come tanti, avevo abbandonato il vinile per il più "pratico” CD.Ma con il recente regalo di un nuovo giradischi e la disponibilità economica (in effetti è comunque una spesa 'non da poco') mi sono “acquistato un’emozione” : aprendo il pacco Amazon, passando tra le mani i vinili con uno già sul piatto del giradischi, mi sono sentito di nuovo come se avessi ancora 15 anni !!!.Non aggiungo molto altro a ciò che è già stato scritto: sulla musica dei 15 album è già stato detto di tutto, ma i vinili colorati (il doppio LP ‘bianco’ e ‘ nero’ di Queen II, il mio preferito in assoluto, è superlativo), il remaster, il book di circa 100 pagine che li accompagna, la confezione e l'eccellente modalità di spedizione di Amazon sono tutti da 10 e lode.Insomma, da vecchio fan, sono stra-felice dell’acquisto, che raccomando a chi, come me, ama profondamente questo gruppo (portafoglio, ovviamente, permettendo) !!!

Mooi vormgegeven collectie van alle Queen albums. Gegarandeerd luisterplezier. De LP’s zijn zeer goed gemasterd en luisteren perfect, met een vol geluid dat recht doet aan de originele albums. Heerlijk voor een mooie luistersessie.

I was fortunate to get this new for Xmas 2018 for under $400 as it appears to be pretty much now unavailable aside from resellers for a stupid amount of money. Based on one of the reviews, I was somewhat concerned about the quality of some of the pressings but aside from minor (very minor) imperfections, I haven’t come across any issues so far. One comment about the colour quality on The Game I think is inaccurate (not that it would really matter anyways) - if you look in the book the colour in the photo appears more like marble than plain grey/silver so I think that was intended. The packaging is amazing - each record comes in a quality sleeve with the original styled paper insert with album art and photos. The book is an added bonus detailing each of the albums with commentary from the band. Although a huge Queen fan since the mid-80s, my collection had been primarily CDs and rarities, so I only had a couple of these already on vinyl. I think I may have picked up one of the last ones available as shortly after my purchase nothing else has been available on here or other sites aside from resellers.
