Nice shirt
This is my first wool shirt and I love it. I wear it as a base layer when I bike in the cold. It keeps me a lot warmer than those waffle knit thermal long John’s. I love the thin texture, the thumb holes, and the hood. I’m not really in love with the zipper option but it works well. Nice shirt.

Love this top!
I absolutely love this top! I got the light blue in a small. It fits perfectly and blue is beautiful. It really shows my blue eyes! It is very comfortable and soft. Not itchy at all. However, it is quite thin and doesn't seem to really keep me warm under my jackets. It's really not good for a base layer. It's mostly just a really nice and comfy shirt.

Overall good quality
I love Meriwool products. I order at times from the Meriwool site and at times from Amazon. The issue I have with Meriwool products is that they do not make XL and up sizes for women. This is very disappointing. The Large is more like a medium in my opinion. Their products (at least the base-layer tops) are not for average-sized, curvy, or large-busted people. I have bought the large and XL in men's sizes but the shape/fit is compromised. I wrote to the company last year and have seen some of their base layers are now in XL but not the majority. This hooded 190 base-layer is good quality but it is too small in the chest area.

Great Active Shirt, Esp. for Tall Women
I love merino wool and have been slowly replacing a lot of my synthetic exercise clothes. It feels better against my skin and does not hold odor the way synthetic fabric does. I bought this shirt for cool weather running. I love that it has long sleeves with thumb loops to keep my hands warm if I don't want to bother with gloves. I also like the zip neck, which allows me to unzip for ventilation when I start to get warm. The weight of the shirt is slightly lighter than I was expecting but, had I compared my 250g Smartwool zip necks to the 150g t-shirts, I probably would've had a better idea. Nonetheless, it's plenty warm (for me) under a windbreaker or vest for running in the upper 30s through 40s. YMMV.In terms of fit, I am 5'8", ~125 lbs, hourglass shape and the size small fit me similarly as pictured on the model, maybe a little shorter on me but still quite long overall. I have very long arms, long even for my height, and the sleeves are plenty long on me. HALLELUJAH. If you are short, this shirt will probably very long for you, especially the sleeves. Sleeve openings are loose so that would be my only minor complaint; if I need to keep them above my hands at my wrist, they have to be folded up because they don't stay pushed up.Easy to care for, just machine wash in cold water and hang dry. There was a negligible amount of shrinkage.

Great lightweight wool hoodie
Excellent quality, wore 4 days straight backpacking and was happy I had it on every day. Love this piece!

Not warm enough
Now that I've had this for a while I found a medium is too small, though medium is my usual size. Too tight and it makes it not warm up. Would not order again. But it looks stylish!

Thin layer but warm
Very nice thin layer. Soft wool. Very comfortable. I decided to buy a second one.

Ticks all the boxes!
I spent hours searching for a top with these features. I liked this so much I bought 2. It's lightweight, has a zip, thumb loops & a hood, and comes in a variety of colours. The sleeves are a bit loose but I could take those in myself using my sewing machine.
