KNIPEX70 02 160 Comfort Grip Diagonal Cutters

This is my first set of diagonal cutters with an actual formed cushion grip, they fit my hands naturally and feel great. I have several old cutters that are similar, but decided to invest in a high quality product. I was not disappointed and the fit and finish are superb.

My go-tos for everything wire, where I used to use smaller ones with softer steel.They feel like they will last forever.One important thing that I've been noticing lately with all the top brands, is that although they are pricey and have a name that you would assume means quality, they're making the tools cheaper into looser specs. It used to be that you could just walk into a store grab some diagonal cutters and walk out. I went to home Depot to do this with some dewalt diagonal cutters, brought them right back because the cutters did not line up. I went and grabbed every single one they had on the rack to the return desk, and showed them that all of them were defective. Take a look at the pictures, of this Knipex, And you will see that the cutters line up. When I use others that are cheaper, or at least you would figure they would work, when you go to cut something it more or less squishes it like cutting something with scissors and you're not holding on to the scissors very tightly, the paper slips between the cutters. Kind of like that.

Bought some import cheap ones and the cutting edges bent after cutting something a little tougher than copper. So much for hardened tool steel. China is undercutting prices on everything right now but don't buy serious tools from them if you want to use them more than a couple times. I should know this by now but this really is the last time I will be tempted by price. They always look the same as the US or German tools priced several times higher but they are always made from vastly inferior metals using non-quality control processes.These are good solid bypass cutters. I was hoping they were a bit smaller and thinner for getting into smaller spots but they are a great medium size cutter. And I doubt that cutting a coat hanger will damage the cutting edges.

Perfect tool for fire alarm. I rarely need my 8inch ones now which are very heavy so my pouch weighs less which matters when working 12 hour days. Also out of the box these are already broken in unlike other brands. Knipex is very high quality and I actually switched from klein to knipex for my electrical tools.

The best cutter that I ever used. It makes it easier to cut, and provides a sharper cut without effort. Outstanding.

These definitely seem to be high quality. The ergonomics are very good as the handle is long and well padded.

While this cutting plier is somewhat expensive it is extraordinary. The fit and operation is impecable.

This is a serious professional tool. I decided to get this instead of a Klein (which was the same price,) because of the handles. Very comfortable to use, well made, and sharp jaws. A great quality tool that will definitely last.

Habe die Zange jetzt seid 7 Jahren im Einsatz. Die Schneiden sind "fast" noch wie am ersten Tag. Ich schneide mit der Zange alles ... Metall, Plastik, Pappe. Lässt sich alles super machen. Natürlich hauptsächlich für Elektrokabel im Einsatz.Kleiner Tip ... hin und wieder etwas Silikonspray und die Zange ist sehr sehr leichtgängig.Fazit: Wirklich sein Geld wert.Wenn hilfreich - freu ich mich auf einen Klick auf den entsprechenden Button.

Excellent quality tool. Bought to replace a cutter that I've owned for years that had passed it's best, blunt!Never heard the term "atramentized" before and had to look it up without much success. I can only assume it means painted black. Why not just describe as that?Anyway, in spite of that special word, these are very good side cutters. Comfortable grip with insulated handles - you never know when that might be life saver!Only used a couple of times at present. No problems with 2.5mm squared cable or cable ties.A reputable make, you can't go wrong.

I was introduced to the Knipex brand via Wranglerstar on YouTube. These are my first buy. They are expensive but feel like quality with sharp cutting edges and comfortable grips. The cutting edges match up perfectly and the grind runs right to the end if the blades, which makes trimming wire a breeze in tight spots. These are built to last a lifetime.

Typical knipex. Perfect in every way. The red and blue handle range is much more comfortable than. The 1000v IDE yellow and red. Only difference is they can't advertise as insulated etc without the finger guards etc.

I am in the process of changing all of my pliers and cutters over to Knipex. Top notch tools, genuinely German made and highly recommended by me.
