had problems at first
I had issues with buffering at first, and was ready to return and try another box. but after reading numerous other reviews on other boxes i decided that all of them had issues of some sort or another. I suspect most of these boxes are made in the same china factory and are just branded for each selling company. i decided to put a small fan next to the box to actively cool it and that solved all my buffering issues, the box has slits on the side which help the fan cool it efficiently. i would guess that most issues with this box and other android tv boxes would be solved with active cooling. I have been using it for daily streaming for a month and a half with no issues. it puts out a great picture and my 4k tv reports that it is putting out a 4k video. I have not tried any of the other android tv boxes sold on amazon for a comparison, but i am content with this tv box.

This is not a very good box
This has a custom UI interface that uses the KODI app, so if you want to use that this box wouldn't work for me. It seems like this UI or theme or whatever we want to call it also uses a touch based version of android so it really doesn't work great with the tv style remote as my Nvidia shield or xiomi box do since they use android TV as the base software.Remote does not include batteries.Remote does not allow you to talk to control input. This might be ok for some people, but if you are used to a true version of android TV you will probably find this UI cumbersome and limiting.

It does okay!
This is an okay box for the price. I hate the built in launcher but can fix that with downloading a different launcher. I own a few boxes and this is an ok mid to low tier box.

Excellent entertainment value
Delivered very quickly and setup was a breeze! I now have access to a plethora of recorded and live programming!!! I bought this to replace with my FireTV; With 4 gb ram I was able to install all the necessary apps. It worked great. No buffering and great picture quality. I can now also stream 4K quality videos; very easy to set up. It is great so far. Let see if it continues with the same performance. I recommend this product for the price!

Great item but my TV was not compatible
I purchased this because my son did for a subscription he made for a cable TV alternative and it works great, unfortunately it was not compatible with my TV so I had to return it. Only gave 3 stars because I was disappointed that it was not compatible with my TV.

Amazing bang for buck!
Product is very snappy. It acts just like an android tablet that is plugged into your TV. I use it personally for streaming TV in my living room. The only thing is the interface does take a little getting used to, but it overall is an amazing product!

Not a good device
Really poorly designed. Likely does not have the ram it claims to have. Very slow. Crashes often.

Know what you're getting into
Just know before you get any of these chinese-made boxes what you're getting into. Yes, the Alice UX is great, and is very customizable. But pretty much one of the only apps that you can use the remote directional pad to navigate is Kodi. Almost every other app I installed I had to use the mouse pointer on the remote, which is VERY slow and clunky. Showtime, Hulu, etc won't let you navigate the menus without using the mouse pointer. (Netflix only does 480p, but I knew that going into it). And my Firestick runs Kodi way better than this box does. It would pause and stutter, and just not worth it. If you're expecting a Firestick experience, better think twice on this one.
