like a shelf for Keurig cups
This cutter is SHARP. Be careful with it. I have no problems cutting up cardboard boxes for recycling, and I can even get enough precision with them to cut in patterns. I sometimes build stuff with cardboard, like a shelf for Keurig cups. The shelf fell apart, because I suck at building stuff, but the cutter performed admirably while slicing through the cardboard in any shape I wanted. The locking mechanism works very well.

great knife
Had one of these for years and had heck of a time finding a second one - this is the ONLY utility knife I've found that truly has a locking blade. Others I've had or seen, the lock just doesn't hold up under pressure.

good little knife
I really like this little knife. I mainly use it for sharpening my pencils (lead, charcoal, makeup, etc) and breaking down cardboard boxes. The blades can be tricky to snap off, but I don't have to do it often, so I don't mind. I'd rather have a sturdier blade than ones that will fly off unexpectedly. I'll definitely repurchase.

This cutter fits nicely in the hand - has a good
I should have ordered two or three of these, as it was out of stock when I tried to reorder. This cutter fits nicely in the hand - has a good, hefty feel and works very well. I hope I can order again in the future. This was a very good purchase.

Heavier but very ergonomic
The sturdiness of this boxcutter makes it considerably heavier than others I've used, but I really like it. It fits well in my hand (I wear large gloves). There's some play in the blade since the metal housing isn't super tight. The locking mechanism is standard but seems robust.

Just pay a bit more for a better quality knife
This silly thing is not well made. Just cutting holes into paper mache causes the blade to get stuck and break free of the plastic case.

Very Satisfied With This Product - Would Recommend To Others
This is a very sturdy (not to mention, just the right size for easy handling), and well made retractable utility knife/cutter. Quick and easy to use, and well made, too. Certainly does make it a lot easier to open boxes with than just a plain old scissors.
