Escalade 2.5 Gallon (2,4-D + fluroxypyr + dicamba) is a mixture of the new herbicide fluroxypyr pre-packaged with 2,4-D and dicamba. Two applications of Escalade at 1.5 quarts per acre applied 6 weeks apart controlled Virginia buttonweed (Diodia virginiana) 100 percent compared to less than 70 percent control from two applications of a traditional three-way (2,4-D, mecoprop, dicamba) herbicide. Escalade 2 is a premium combination herbicide that uses advanced new fluroxypyr active to quickly control a comprehensive spectrum of broadleaf turfgrass weeds. Also an innovative formulation, Escalade 2 will eradicate most broadleaf weeds from turfgrass and provides unsurpassed control of clover. Pretty happy with it so far
Absolutely destroyed the onion grass I had taking over my yard in a single application. Didn't really phase the ground ivy, though. I'll try a second application on that in a couple of weeks. Pretty happy with it so far.

Love that this always works! Creeping Charlie and buckthorn and stinging nettles don’t stand a chance!

Don’t use Escalade.
My neighbor used this product through TruGreen. The wind blew it towards my property and fumes came through the windows which were open. I started to cough and cough. I thought I was going to cough up every organ in my body. I had to close my windows. After 2 hours of coughing, I found a mask and that helped calm it . I had to get rid of the veggies I had planted because I couldn’t in good conscience serve them to anyone. Every time my neighbors get TruGreen to spray their lawn, I have to close my windows, bring in bird feeders, cover the bird bath, and leave my house just so I can breathe. I cough more than ever now. It did damage. My neighbors know this, yet they continue. They don’t care that it just about killed me. The product also killed another neighbor’s young trees.
