Let me first start by saying as a vet I struggle with sleeping and anxiety/stress. I’ve been on prescriptions for years for it. It takes a toll on you. Plus the pharmacy and DEA can take all their regulations and just tell Americans they would rather them be buying the same things on the streets where they can “lose” inventory and have cartels etc, pay them off to keep you in their pocket cause no one should have to be monitored if they have prescriptions. The percentage of people they are trying to address vs the those they are causing major problems is ten fold opposite the intended outcome of restricting FREE AMERICANS from using medication from a physician. Because this has caused me and so many others so much distress I remembered that I used to get these KAVA KAVA livid filled gel caps at GNC when I was a young adult. It was great at relaxing me during my first years in the service. A while ago I was surprised to see that it was still available and learned so much more about it in that time. It has taken the place of more than 3 medications for me (if it’s the “Right” Kava. I have used it all. You name it, the way to take and prepare I have done. I have taken seat you should stain and just took it like it was soup. All the different strains and profiles of kavalactones taken into consideration, I have found this too by far DESTROY ALL OTHER BRANDS AND PREPARATIONS!! I don’t say this lightly either. Sure..I Do Use Larger Amounts than most. But it’s that or the alternative. And no issues other than some intestinal gas. BUTT,…who cares. I did not get anything for this review I don’t usually care about writing them but this is too important that I wanted to save others so many hours of research and trial and error, money and mental fatigue trying to get what they are looking for at a good price and by far the easiest/quickest to prepare. I’m sure others will tell me they think this it that company, or that this blend or that part of the root, or this regions variety is better or stronger and they may have noticed it suited them but if you want the honest straight forward answer this is it….. NO OTHER KAVA IS AS STRONG AS THIS CAN GET!!! No one can tell me different, however. If it is a really bad time and I need that extra umph (btw I don’t drink or smoke or anything) taking 3 oz of this in an hour or so will make you unable to walk straight in the morning. No joke!!! This also has had the best reverse tolerance qualities do not long until you don’t need much most days. Hope this help save someone some time. Disagree all you want, chances are this review is going to be the most real love and realistic review and that’s why I’ll stay with FijiKava. Overnight shipping and a 5lb bucket would be perfect with a highly discounted price per ounce. Enjoy and yes I didn’t even get into what to do to make it taste better to manage. That’s all going to be a personal preference. I can use 6oz in 36oz of water one some light cream or half and half ( I like heavy cream personally if I don’t add some evaporated milk) , vanilla extract, Splenda, cocoa powder and shake up. No need for a blender. Yes it’s thick like soup but not like gains. Yes it’s not a milk shake, get over it. The physical and mental effects are the benefits you should care about and suck up the taste. ALSO,…the Amount of numbing different kava provides is Not how to tell the strength or quality. I consider myself to be a regular kava user (different brand). I have had it nearly every day for the last year and a half. I've had strong sedative kavas, as well as mood-boosting, uplifting kavas (my favorite). I've tried many that do both. I realized one of my normal kava orders was not going to arrive on time, so I figured I'd pick up this bag to use in the meantime. It had some favorable reviews from a couple years ago, so I figured it was worth a go. Big mistake. As soon as I tried it, I realized something was wrong. I provided nearly zero effects while giving me a headache a nausea, or general feeling of being unwell. This is basically the opposite of what to expect from a quality kava. I tried returning it but since the bag was opened, it couldn't be accepted. I am not sure what is going on with this product, but I would stay away from it if you are looking for a good kava experience. One star since it actually showed up packaged well, on time, etc.

I recently stumbled upon the health benefits and cautions of Kava root tea. This is only the second time that I’m consuming this beverage. I followed the directions and only made it with one tsp dissolved in 8 ounces of boiling water. I added a ‘positive energy, tangerine’ teabag for flavor as well as a tablespoon of honey. And I let it steep. I mixed it and then transferred it to an authentic coconut shell bowl for authenticity. I bought it to have it in my cabinet just in case I have a really bad day and I need to take the edge off. After consuming about 6 out of the 8 ounces, leisurely, not only my mouth, but my esophagus got numb as well. That was a new experience for me as the first time I tried it, was actually at a Kava tea Botanical garden in Reseda. I did not experience numbness with that particular tea, and I’m thinking that this product is not only using the root of the plant, but maybe using the stem and the leaves which has been known to cause liver damage. I’m thinking maybe the use of the stem and the leaves is what causes the numbness but I’m not sure. Can’t wait to see if I have any lucid dreaming like I did the first time I tried it. I had the most incredible dream ever. Today, however, I took it for its calming effect and to reduce pain as I had a little mishap. I will definitely say that I am very much relaxed. I am, however, wondering about my esophagus. It feels mildly a little swollen, wondering if I’m allergic? I feel like it also gives you cottonmouth. It indeed does say on the package that it might cause liver damage- maybe an indication that they are using other parts of the plant.

I've purchased this micronized kava in this size and in the larger 5 inch size over a dozen times. While it's not the strongest micronized kava I've ever used, it is consistent in its effect. It numbs my tongue instantly and produces a moderate relaxation within seconds. Within a few minutes, the tightened and strained muscles of my neck relax perceptibly. If I'm having a severe panic attack, I notice a significant reduction in physical symptoms (hyperventilation, racing heart, nausea and lightheadedness) and psychological symptoms (imperative to run and hide, blind terror) again within a couple of minutes. I know YMMV as with all supplements, but this kava is amazingly consistent in its effect. It's not the strongest effect, again, but I'd rather have a moderately effective sure thing than a very strong strain that varies from bag to bag. Yes, traditional prep can often be much stronger, but I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and I can't strain kava with my hands very well more or wrestle with a blender or shaker. This is strong enough and it's instantly available. Taste: I simply toss and wash a level teaspoon with a water chaser. Unlike some other micronized, this numbs my tongue but does NOT rouse my gag reflex. It is as palatable as any trad prep Fijian kavas I've drunk. I do not know how it would taste when stirred into water. By the way, if you do mix it with water, do not use boiling water as mentioned in another review. That will destroy the alkaloids that make kava effective! In fact, don't use warmer than lukewarm water. Also notable: I've not experienced any dermopathy or nausea with this kava unlike some other brands I've tried. It is quite reasonably priced for the amount and effectiveness of the product. In short, I highly recommend this kava for those who, like me, need effective pain and anxiety reduction.

It really does tastes how it smells, earthy. I would say like super fine grind, chalky dirt. But it doesn't taste like dirt. Bought this as a kratom alternative because I don't have availability to that now. I'm relaxed a bit. It was difficult to mix, but that may be my fault because I didn't use alot of water, nor did I want to. Pretty much gave me what I expected from it. Now I think this brand may be weaker from what the other reviews say but I cannot confirm that. 3.5 out of 5 for now. I'll experiment with various dosages, etc.. Packaging nice, fast shipping 10/10 My rating is for the product only though

Wonderful product. 10 stars. But will have to find something else. Shipping takes at least a week. If the seller had timely shipping, I'd buy nothing else.

I started with their recommended serving size and was pleasantly surprised. It took effect fairly quick, I do practice intermittent fasting so I had not eaten anything all day besides my bulletproof coffee in the morning. A very empty stomach is essential for me and kava and 20 minutes after the first serving, I tried another 2 grams (weighed out), I was feeling very good. I see a fairly large percentage of bad reviews so I am guessing these people do not know you shouldn't eat anything for a few hours before taking Kava and SOME PEOPLE, complaining about the taste 🤣, it is kava people, it does not taste good. Easy to use as it is an instant kava, so no more kneeding is nice. I give it 👍👍! I would recommend this if you are new to kava, give it a try and remember, it may not take effect the first time or a few times, but give it a chance.

If you're looking for more of a buzz like what you get at the kava bars then this will only be half of your ingredients. Many of the kava bars put very addictive kratom in with the kava to enhance the buzz and if you don't want to become addicted to something like heroin that I suggest you do not go to the kava bars and you only use this product alone.
