Q: Why 4 countries of origin for this oil? How can its quality be assured with so much world travel?

I believe the jojoba seed/wax is sourced from these regions and processed in the US. Jojoba grown naturally in this countries. There website claims small batch non gmo oils so this isn’t surprising. I got the jojoba a few weeks ago and the quality is very nice.

Q: Is it hexane free? Why is it filtered?

It is hexane free. Any cold pressed plant oil requires filtering to remove unwanted matter. Fruits and kernels don't know how to expel just the oil and retain everything else when pressed.
