Perfect for my needs
I have several 1/2 gallon glass bottles for water. I have had them for years. One fell over recently. While the bottle didn't break, the plastic cap did. I contacted the manufacturer who said that any 38mm cap would work. I found these. They fit perfectly and look like the original. I wish they came in a smaller pack as I didn't need 15 but now I have plenty of extras.

Missing aspect filled in
These caps were, and will be, used with 1-gallon jugs in which caps that were NOT child-resistant, and hence easy-open, were missing.That missing aspect of the said jugs was one these caps filled in quite nicely.

Fit 1 gallon bottle
I have water refill jugs made of glass and they're 1 gallon. These lids were perfect. I'm not sure why other people have issues but these were great for me . Will buy agaim

I used them for vintage glass spice jars since I was missing two lids when I bought the 12 piece set with the rack. They are perfect

Wrong size and material!!!
These are NOT 38mm, black plastic caps, but are instead 28 - 29mm and made of metal. The label wrongly states they are the 38mm, plastic. Not good attention to detail to detail in the packing dept.? I don't have any bottles these small caps will fit, so I chose to return these. The nearest UPS drop-off location is 30mi away. Who pays for the gas at nearly $6 a gallon? Of course, I'll add this errand onto my monthly shopping trip, so not making a separate trip. It's just the thought of it, because after I received the caps I looked closer at the reviews and several mention that the caps are the wrong size. North Mountain Supply needs to fix the stock that is mislabeled, not continue to inconvenience others because of the company's mistake. I won't be buying my brew supplies from them.

Great well-fitting Lids
These lids fit all my wife's jugs perfectly. Fits standard growlers and carboys. Forms a watertight seal to prevent embarrassing leaks. I keep two in my pocket just in case I have a lid emergency.
