Okay, this is a review from the dumb, non-technically trained person.... Or at least that's how I felt for a while (you will likely think I was too after I tell you this story).I got the product and followed the directions. Everything went as planned until I used the included "squeeze card" to get out a few bubbles. At which time, the squeeze card scratched the screen. I was upset and asked for a replacement. One came. I took it off and then replaced the old one without once again washing the ipad screen. I figured it was already clean. Nope! As careful as I was, it didn't work. So I emailed their tech support and they sent me another one. This time, I was not able to use the tabs to get off the top cover (somehow, first time I noticed there was a top plastic cover to remove-oh, oh)... So tech support sent me a youtube video and offered to change out the defective one. The video looked so easy! But I couldn't get it to work. So I want sent a final protector.Now, I gotta tell you, I have tested very high on an IQ test. But really, I felt sooo stupid. Finally, I had to return them. But now, my Ipad touch screen wouldn't work.So I go to the Apple store. And to my TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT, there were 4 screen protectors installed on top of the Ipad.. (OMG!!! I felt like the dumbest person EVER!). The Apple Genius guy took the other three off and the touch screen is perfectly fine). Is it possible to want to shrink into an invisible person and disappear? I was soo embarassed!Well, at the end of the day, these screen protectors were so good, that somehow, I still am baffled how, I installed them so perfectly that I didn't even know I'd installed them. That's how good they are. Moral of the story, read all the instructions all the way through, and pay attention.And it must be commented on, customer service was fast, very helpful, and never made me feel dumb. They sent several screens... and I finally figured it out. I'm just glad I don't use my real name, where someone could recognize me and my unbelievable ...mistakes!The PRODUCT IS LOVELY AND IT WORKS. It is a very good quality and the customer service is phenomenal!It's so easy to do, you might even not realize you did it!

Until this day I still have it on, I got it back in 2023 and no cracks or nothing. Applying it was super easy, no bubbles, can still use with a stylus, fits perfectly, easy to clean, it protects really good.

First, a quick note about their customer support. It is insanely good! 24x7 support for a screen protector! Are you kidding me? More about this to follow.I recently purchased a iPad Mini 4, but was discouraged to find that no screen protectors were available. Several were advertised, but none made specifically made for the new Mini's size.I waited awhile and found the Techmatte amFilm model. I was looking for tempered glass that was crystal clear and covered as much of the front as possible. This fit the bill, had good reviews and was a good price. How could you go wrong?I received the exact product I ordered - this sounds trivial, but when ordering for a newly released product, some vendors ship older accessories, not the ones you think you've ordered.Opening the package, I was impressed with all of the helpful dust removal tools and the tips included with the instructions. However, I found that the Techmatte went on smoothly the very first time. I have never seen handles on the ends of the removable film to aid in the install - truly ingenious and helpful.One note - Seriously, if you don't know how to install a screen protector, take it to the mall and pay someone at a kiosk to do it for you.After installing, I noticed a small circular indentation directly above the Home button hole. It looked like it was almost cut for the old Mini size, but hadn't been cut completely through. I didn't notice until after completing the installation and though you couldn't see it on most screens, when using the Kindle app, which I view in white on black, it shows up quite clearly.The installation instructions included an email address for support, so I took a couple of photos and emailed them. This was at 10:28 pm on a Tuesday night. Two minutes later they emailed me back! Seriously, 2 minutes. After asking for the order number and confirming my mailing address, they shipped another one.I'm happy to report that the new one is perfect and installed just as easily.If you want tempered glass, perfect fit and simple install, purchase this one. If you have trouble installing protectors, even if you claim to be an expert, pay someone else to do it for you. Even with that cost, this protector will be well worth the money.

This screen protector was very easy to install. Took very little time and it went on smooth, no bubbles, and seems to be on there very solidly. I did mess up the alignment the first time, but it was easy to remove and try again without ruining the protector.It does tend to smudge, I am not sure if it smudges as bad as it could, but there is still minimal smudging, which is fine as this is easy to clean.I watch a lot of videos on this though and when the screen is dark it is fairly reflective and I just see myself staring back amidst whatever else I can make out, which is a problem, but again this is glass and you are paying around $10, so I find this acceptable.Lastly, this model iPad uses the gen 1 Apple Pencil. I find that the Pencil does work well with this glass. It is a bit smooth, but that is going to be an issue with whatever screen protector unless that protector is matte. This does cause the stylus to slide around easily, but I think that helps me more than hurts me. It doesn't have a lot of feedback though so for some it might make it seem strange writing on the slick glass. Still though, nothing about this protector impedes the use of the tablet.Would definitely recommend as a good value product for basic protection needs.

So originally I wasn't going to buy a screen protector for my new iPad mini 4 but I ended up not buying a case with a built in screen protector so I had no choice but to get one. After looking on Amazon through tons of reviews and videos about screen protectors I decided to go with this one. Now because most of the screen protectors on here have mixed reviews I was a tad bit uneasy but at the end of the day it was all worth it because this screen protector did exactly as it said it would. Now I personally went ahead and steamed up my bathroom and applied the screen protector in there and then I proceeded to follow the instructions that were presented in the techmatte installation video. Let me tell you, this was honestly the easiest screen protector installation I've done yet. I was done in less than 5 minutes. I think what attributes most to that is the fact that the screen protector has handles so you can easily perfectly line up the cutouts without having to worry about trying to realign the screen protector nor take it off and reapply it. I'll definitely buy again if I need another one as I was really impressed with the easy application. Not to mention it really brings out the colors of the iPad so it's 10/10 for me. I recommend this screen protector to anyone, I'm sure you won't regret it :)

This is by far the best experience I have had. I usually travel over 30 miles to the nearest mall to redeem a warranty on a screen protector glass. Not including gas used in travel that usually runs me a total of 25 dollars plus tax. So I must say how convenient and perfectly priced this item is. In order for me to leave a review, and a five star one at that, it usually points to my complete satisfaction. If i could give the review more stars I would.After verifying the size and quantity I desired, an order was placed. My order arrived exactly as expected. The item was well packaged, had no damage whatsoever and best of all included detailed step by step instructions. This was helpful since my biggest concern was application of the product on my own. TechMatte made sure to include more than enough tools necessary for a breezy installation.That's it!! My product arrived on time, in perfect condition, with all the tools necessary for an easy application and the company also included contact information incase i had any questions or concerns. Also they went out of their way to email me to make sure i was completely satisfied!As a former military personnel i can give you my word with 100% satisfaction/recommendation for this product and company. I really like the tempered glass screen protectors which have been coming out lately. They seem more resilient than the plastic protectors I've installed on other devices in previous years, and seem to maintain their clarity better--based on initial observations. The other thing I liked about this particular protector was that the rigidity of the glass simplified the installation process for me. The more flexible plastic protectors I've bought in the past had to be affixed gradually from one side of the device to the other, sometimes resulting in misalignment issues or bubbles. With this particular protector, I followed the instructions of peeling off the plastic film, holding the protector by the two plastic tabs on either side, and lowering it onto the screen in one motion. Any bubbles under the screen protector were easily pushed out with the supplied card.In an older review that I wrote for a similar product, I noted that the humid bathroom trick reduced the dust in the air and improved the chances of a clean installation. This time, I discovered a major improvement over that approach: performing the screen protector installation on top of a top-venting HEPA air cleaner! I again performed the installation in a slightly humid bathroom, but I first placed the air cleaner on the floor and used a powerful LED flashlight to confirm that the air venting upwards from the top of the cleaner created a dust-free work zone. Next, I proceeded to lay the tablet on top of the air cleaner, clean the screen as directed, and then followed the rest of the installation instructions.As always, choose to follow any of these guidelines at your own risk. If you have a substandard or dirty air cleaner, you might actually add more dust into the air and make a clean installation impossible; I can merely state how my own installation experience went.

Good product and does the job. Will buy more of this in the future.
