The Locks I received were well put together and quite sturdy. I intended them for usage on my bedroom door but am now quite confident I can trust using them for my front door for keeping the home itself secure. These locks are Easy to install and come with their own screws (Though they are not the best). I would say this lock definitely met my expectations and would recommend anyone in need of a simplistic means of securing a door, purchase one or several. If you are however looking for a lock akin to a full deadbolt or something that can withstand several heavy attempts at it, you ought to look for something a little more heavy duty.

While I generally appreciated the item, one of the brackets was missing from the box, so I was only able to use 3 of them. The reason why I reduced the rating more than a star for quality control is the company that produces these, offers an email address that doesn't work, so there is no means to contact them about replacement. Best to look elsewhere.

I needed a small, sturdy lock that I could put at the bottom of a gate to keep my trespassing neighbor out of my yard where he was stealing pool chemicals and other things. This worked perfectly and he could no longer wander into my yard.
