Just received these (two) and have mounted them to the side of my old Art Steel filing cabinet. Comments - First, there is no way on this green earth that these shelves are ever going to fall off of cabinet. Ain't happening. Second, while the images for the product show one being nested inside the other for mounting, that leaves way too small a slot in the bottom bin to be very useful. Nothing very thick is going to fit in, and anything very flimsy (like single sheet of paper) will be tricking putting in. So I do not have my nested, have simply mounted them one below another. Third, the bins are plenty heavy duty, but not sturdy enough (I don't think ANYTHING is) to pull off the cabinet by just grabbing - see the tip below for repositioning.Tips - yes, albeit difficult, the bins CAN be taken off the surface and repositioned. Run a case knife between your metal surface and the bin in line with one of the two magnets and pry just a bit. The magnet on that side will let loose and, after that point, the bin is fairly easily removed for repositioning. If you simply try to pull the bin off the metal surface, as others have commented here, the magnets will be just fine, but the bin might break from flexing too much during the "tugging for dear life" process.I've attached pic of the bins mounted on the side of the cabinet, next to my desk at home.This would be a solid five-star review if there was enough room in the bottom bin when nesting and if the company included tips for repositioning. As it is, it is still a solid thumbs up, have no problem recommending the product to others.

The magnet on this thing is really strong. I bought it to put on the fridge to store my cutting boards and mats. I could put one wood board and several mats in it. (Since it wasn't designed for this , I didn't expect anything different. ) if the same product were designed to hold a full team of paper, it would be perfect for my needs. When I went to put it on the fridge, it was several inches away from the surface, and wham! that baby stuck right on. You need two hands to remove it. Even though it was a bit pricey, I am pleased; it is a nice quality item.

Holy cow I love these so much! I got int to stick on the side of the file cabinet next to my desk for items that needed to be dealt with before filing and it works like I dream. I opened my first one, hung it and immediately ordered a second. These magnets are no joke and the bin isn’t going anywhere. It’s sturdy and large enough for many files but slim enough to not get in my way. If I had more magnetic space I would order more. Actually I could get some for my fridge for mail. Perfect, going to order more now haha!

I stuck it to my new family 'command center' metal wall in my pantry and I literally could not move it!! My husband had to come and pry it off (I was afraid of breaking it!) The magnets are RIDICULOUSLY STRONG!!!! Which is great if you need it to hold 200 sheets of paper, but just a warning - make sure you put it where you want it to stay... forever!Fits my needs perfectly (holding random paperwork/forms etc that normally would collect on my kitchen counter until I throw it away)

Holy cow this holder is amazing. The magnets are serious- it requires real elbow grease to make it budge. Now that my life appears to be homeschooling from a city apartment, I need all the space savers and organization hacks I can get. My front door happens to be magnetic, so I put two of these on the back of it, and voila! I have a station that holds worksheets, clipboards, books, markers, and more. Super sturdy, nice looking, great buy overall. Things might just get really wild and I’ll buy a couple more to regain my dining room table back.

I have been looking for magnetic file holders for a while. The other major brand had very bad reviews so I kept looking. I found these and ordered two or them and they are perfect. First, the packaging is very secure and both arrived in perfect condition. Second, the magnets on these are incredibly strong so they will not move, slide or fall off. Third, the white color is a perfect bright white. Lastly, you can use one by itself or put multiple together depending on your needs and they can hold a lot of files or other miscellaneous papers.These are hands down the best magnetic file holders on the market.

This product was thin enough to fit between my steel door and storm door. It is very sturdy and well made. The magnets are very powerful and hold enough weight for my purpose (completed tax returns). As I am trying to avoid as much contact this year with my customers as possible. This is exactly the product I needed! I highly recommend it!

I got this to hang on my front door for student assignments, etc. When I was holding it up to the door to determine placement, the magnets sucked it right out of my hands and clamped it to the door! I gently wiggled it back and forth to the place I wanted as pulling it off would have probably broken the plastic back which is not solid like the front.Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase. Just take care when you move it.
