Couldn't find this stuff in stores. Little pricey but does the job!!

This is a great product for the edges of the shoe as well as the heel. It comes with a built-in, easy applicator which makes the job quick and easy. One thing to remember is to load the sponge carefully as you press on the edge; don’t press too hard all at once. Otherwise too much product will come out and drip. Make sure to wipe up the excess product after about 30 seconds so you don’t get it on the floor or on your clothes. Overall, this is an excellent product, which will keep your shoes looking sharp.

I purchased this item to use in an entirely unintended way -- to cover scrapes and scratches on my otherwise lovely black refrigerator after movers mistreated it in a recent move. This product was easy to use and did a great job of covering up the marks. While it couldn't remove the dents (not that I expected it to!), it did cover all the scratches and scuffs well enough that I can't really see them unless I'm actively looking closely at it. It also does not rub off when we brush against the refrigerator (which was the danger with the shoe polish the repair guy recommended), so it's definitely a win in my book.When using it, I put on 6 or 7 very light coats, letting each one dry 15-30 minutes before doing another one. The sponge was in good condition and the bottle was easy to use and clean. The cap also does a great job of sealing the top sponge area to keep the moisture in and the product in good shape - at one point, I had rinsed out the sponge and apparently not dried it well enough and moisture beaded up inside the cap. (I wiped it out and it was fine.)While I have not tried this on actual heels yet, I'm confident that it will work well based on its performance on the fridge. Highly recommended as an alternative to a new fridge or for repairing moderate cosmetic damage.

Loved the easy way this made the heels of several boots look like new. Kind of a matt black, not shiny. Great product. The sponge top make application so easy. Super product.
