Good stuff
Paid more to get OEM but worked perfectly. The parts bag had Mercruiser on it so it’s the real deal! Perfect alignment.

Worked great
Worked great as an OEM replacement for 2005 mericriser 3.0 fuel pump. Inlet and outlet are on the same side like the current photo (same as my factory pump).

so the companies order fulfillment was great. Product is not the same as picture
Received the pump in about 4 days, so the companies order fulfillment was great. Product is not the same as picture. Picture show the correct pump with the inlet and outlet on opposite sides of the pump. The pump I received had the inlet and outlet ports on the same side. After installing the pump, I realized I could not just add additional fuel hose to reach the fuel port which is now on the opposite side of the pump. I also notice that none of the fittings worked with the current fittings on the motor. After I took the pump off, I read on the bag that the pump was not returnable after opening.I spent a considerable premium to get the OEM pump. To say that I am disappointed that I have to redesign my fuel system to make it work is an understatement.

Installed with some added work
I installed this on my 2002 Bayliner 1952 cuddy. It has a Mercruiser 3L Alpha 1 engine. The inlet port was on the left side on this unit and on the right on my old fuel pump. It required a little extra work in the form of replacing my old fuel line from the tank with a longer hose to connect on the left side. It was simple, and the unit works just fine with no leaks. I needed a new line anyway, it looked like an original setup. I just need to test it on the water. If anything changes I will update this review.

It’s a fake!
This product arrived in a box without packaging, other than an oil stained plastic bag. The product had no labels, no fittings, no gaskets, no paint plugs. It was sold as OEM and at the cost of OEM. A cheat. A lie and a cheat. Shame.

Direct fit except for the fuel inlet, it’s on the opposite side of the original which you can got to the automotive store and get a extended fuel line then trim it to the length you need. Once installed which is straight forward this pump ran as expected without issue. Even though it wasn’t my issues, it’s still a good replacement for $100+ or more for the same things from online and box store pricing. So if you have a engine like mine, have a small amount of skills, you can easily do the replacement yourself and save big $$$$
