Magic the Gathering MTG 2020 Challenger Set of All 4 Decks

Pros: 1. Playable right of the box. 2. Great decks with great cards. 3. Portable, neat, well designed boxes, especially once you sleeve your decks, they fir perfectly.Con: No spin down dies for some reason. 🤷‍♂️ I also purchased the 2018 and 2019 challanger decks and they all came with spin down dies, so Im not sure why my 2020 decks didn't include them, very unfortunate.

I'm an old MTG vet who recently dusted off my old collection while dying of boredom during the recent pandemic. I've been out of standard for the past few years so I wanted a quick way to pick up some competitive decks and also teach my housemates how to play. These definitely filled that need. Overall, its a great buy but I'll give a quick rundown of my pros and cons:Pros:AMAZING value for the current cost - buying these decks ~$20 per is basically their worth (more in some cases) if you were to buy them in single cardsGreat variety in play styles - all 4 of the decks play incredibly differently, really making it a great teaching tool if you're trying to show your friends/housemates/SO/whoever all the different flavors of MTGPackaging - comes with neat deck boxes, tokens and even full 15 card sideboards for each deck!Beginner friendly - while not totally breaking the bank, these decks will give you enough of an idea how strong each archetype can be, with very clear upgrade paths if you want to keep playing itCons:Deck value - while the overall value is an absolutely incredible deal, the value between the individual decks is where I take issue. I feel like certain decks have easily 1.5x to 2x the power level of some others.Annnnd that's it! Honestly I love the package as a whole but just wish the decks were slightly more balanced in power level.TL:DR - BUY IT NOW, especially if you're looking for a way to get your hands on some decently competitive decks in the current meta!

New to MTG and wanted to get some ready-to-play options. Can't comment on the decks from a play standpoint yet, but the shipping was prompt and everything was sealed together nicely. No problems with the cards themselves either. Nice!

All four challenger decks for under $20 a piece was an easy purchase to decide on. All decks showed up in perfect condition. One of the best MTG purchases I've ever made.

I played MTG heavily in high school and eventually dropped out of the game. I have gotten interested in playing again and I ordered this set and they arrived quickly in great shape. As for playability the decks stacked up well against my friends with more established collections. All in all a good purchase.

My son loved these and we got them early.

Perfect for playing a quick game with a newer or first time player.
