Made of silicone doesnt melt
the bristles tested on hot pan without oil. It didnt melt. So yes silicone. However the handles are just normal plastic and forget it at edge of pan it melts and breaks, thats what happened to my earlier brush so had to buy this set. Anyway, 1 out of 4 was having weirdly shaped bristles so 2 stars less.
