Casa Giulia Jam, Fig, 12.35 Ounce

Delicious! My wife's favorite type of jam is fig which is sometimes hard to find, so she decided to try this Casa Giulia brand that happens to be a product of Italy. The flavor of the jam is perfect, with just the right amount of fig chunks mixed in the jar. It has the usual added sugar, pectin, lemon juice and vit.C. The price is higher than other brands but well worth the price! We have been trying to grow enough figs on our own young fig tree (brown turkey), but not yet. She wants to make her own fig jam, of course! This jam so impressed us that we ordered another jar for our next-door neighbors who also are trying to grow figs, and they are NY old-school Italian. They were thrilled, and raved about the flavor! This is a winner!

I've tried several different brands of fig jam and this is my favorite. It costs a little more than most others, but I think it's worth it. Great flavor, not too sweet with a nice, smooth texture. Good on toast or scones and a perfect addition to a charcuterie board.

We had this on open faced sandwiches with a slice of Gouda and a slice of apple, on Danish rye bread, topped off with a little arugula. The fig jam went great with the other ingredients.

We purchased this fig and used it when we did a charcuterie night at home with fresh salamis, cheese and crackers. This was the perfect companion for the cheese and meats. Not overly sweet - just perfect. It's very light. Delicious. Happy I made this purchase

I got spoiled by the fig jam that I bought in Italy. And since this says it comes from Italy I thought it might be just as good, but nope. It's good, but not 5 stars good.

Communication with seller was awesome! Fast delivery. Surprised the jam is really good, I thought it would be super sweet like most fig jams would be. Great for my next wine night cheese boards! Happy customer!! Will be buying again!!

Although this item was tightly wrapped in bubble wrap, it arrived sticky and the cover was damaged. Pretty disappointing given that this was meant to be a gift.
