Perfect fit in my Samsung front loader dryer. I had principally ordered the wrong heating element and noticed it only had two contacts while the original had three. I returned that one and tracked this one down. It had the proper contact configuration and looked to be an exact replacement. It’s been working well for a week so far!

Installed this (yes properly) in Oct and already have to replace it. Upon further investigation, this was a short caused by the wires touching the outside housing...how in the world this happened...idk. works fine for months means it was installed right, but something caused these wires to short out (obvious burn mark on housing from short). Can't fault the part from something it was not designed to do.Quick note, if your emelent burns up from a short or defect, replace the thermal fuse too and check your thermal switch. I had to replace all of mine.So I'm bummed about 3 months and it's already needing a replacement, but it wasn't the fault of the part...nothing with 240v flowing through it and gets a huge spike of direct contact with ground would stand a chance of survival. Glad my safety equipment did the job, but annoyed that now I gotta replace it again.The wire gauge thickness did seem thinner than OEM (which means it can't handle as much heat over time)...so I'll take 1 star off for that.If you are handy, this is not a hard job to do...can be done in under an hour but drum belt is hardest part to put back on if brand new. I would recommend an ohm test (don't forget to remove wires first!) And make sure continuity exists in heating element and fuse and switch. Heating element should read from 25ohms-50ohms depending on the contact measurements (120v legs vs 240v combo legs) (a.k.a. top to mid, top to bottom, mid to bottom for the 3 terminal spades). Anything 0L or open means it is bad. Fuse is just making sure both sides have continuity. Thermal switch you can take out and put a heat gun or hair dryer on the metal....it should read continuity until it reaches the thermal cut off switch temp...L260F-50 means it reaches 260F +-50F. If your switch cuts off well before that threshold (210-310) then replace it.

Excellent quality and fit perfectly and arrived early! I called 5 different local part stores and everywhere wanted $200 and up for the same part. We are a family of 6, so this Samsung dryer gets used several times a day. Glad to have it working again at full heat. I would highly recommend!

UPDATE: After I posted my review, the seller reached out to apologize and offered a full refund.ORIGINAL: Once I found a video tutorial on YouTube, it was fairly easy to replace. Got my dryer working again. But the part did NOT last long. I bought this in November 2022 and it stopped working in August 2023. I don’t do a ton of laundry. But still thought this should have lasted longer than it did. Photos clearly show the charred, burnt coils and melted connectors. Buying again to give it one more try and praying this lasts longer the second time around. Will let you know if the second unit goes out just as quickly.

I ordered this in hopes of saving my dryer that quit heating . I was able to swap out the old one with this one and it worked with no problem. I was able to save a lot of money .
