I love these products. I've replaced all of my outdoor hose connections with these fantastically engineered devices. No leaks, good value, easy to install, and to use.

Excellent connector. No leaks whatsoever for nearly six years. The levers work well to stop the water flow. I was not sure about durability when I purchased this in June 2015 but I'd been generally very happy with Gardena products in general and it is only now in May 2021 that the connector has failed as there is a slight leak from one arm - just a drip, drip, drip leak but enough to warrant buying a new one unless there is some sort of o ring or seal that can be replaced. Functionality has been great as I love the quick disconnect feature

Writing this when the valve is new, so I can't comment on durability. But what struck me immediately is how this does not have a free-spinning collar that screws onto the spigot the way many hoses do and would allow you to then turn the rest of the unit to a desired orientation. Therefore it's stuck at whatever angle it happens to be at when the threads tighten. Granted this may not affect many people, but some spigots are not in wide-open areas and/or not pointing the usual way! I've got one that's mounted sideways, and this unit screwed on with the top (orange valve handles side) mostly facing the wall.

Easy to install, reliable, just awesome!

I purchased a second one for another faucet because the first one I purchased has been in use for over 5 years. Most Gardena products I put away for winter as if water is in them the plastic will crack. Just bleed this and it’s fine have never put this away for winter. Watch the sprayers.

Well made and durable as are all Gardena products. However, the interior diameter of the splitter is too narrow and significantly reduces water flow. A future redesign would be useful.

I live in an area that has a lot of minerals in the water . The metal fittings deteriorate to fast .

Works flawlessly. Levers are easy to turn and no leaks.

Excellent product

Works great, but this is my 2nd unit. 1st unit only last 2 years. The plastic got crack after less than 2 years. Yes I did drain all the water out before winters. Strongly recommend you store the Y-Valve and most Gardena equipment in an indoor room temperature environments during winters month.

Changed these so my wife can change the water over. Easy to do. She doesn’t have strong hands. The built in connector couplings are nice as well.

I have a large property and only one outdoor faucet. I needed separate hose lines for the front and back to eliminate the work and time related to dragging hoses around. This Gardena Y-valve was an easy fix. Now I have separate lines and can reroute the water using the Y-valve's individual flow switches. 2 convenient Quick Connectors were included for adapting the Y-valve to regular hoses. I value Gardena products for ease of use and saving my time with garden tasks.
