Best Imitation Green Irish Tweed I've Ever Found!!
My all time favorite men's fragrance is Green Irish Tweed (GIT) by Creed. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to afford paying $300+ for a single bottle of my favorite cologne, so I'm forced to look for alternatives. And although I've tried numerous imitation fragrances that closely mimic GIT (including Cool Water by Davidoff), none of them hold a candle to Tres Nuit Pour Homme by Armaf. Having already tried Club De Nuit by Armaf (an excellent imitation of Creed Aventus), I'm not surprised at how close this fragrance resembles GIT. Armaf just seems to have cornered the market on good imitation fragrances, even if that wasn't their original intent. It should be noted that, in addition to being an imitation fragrance, Tres Nuit Pour Homme is also an Eau de Toilette (or "EdT"). This means it contains more denatured alcohol and water but fewer aromatic compounds (i.e. fragrance oils). As a result, this fragrance doesn't last as long and requires more sprays to be effective than Green Irish Tweed (which is an Eau de Parfum, or "EdP" and contains more oil). Nevertheless, Tres Nuit Pour Homme still smells AMAZING; it's both appealing and easy to apply, while also a great value for the price and what I'd call a truly "authentic imitation" (despite that being an oxymoron). I'm certain I will buy it again whenever I start running low on my current bottle.

Nice fragrance with Violet top notes, good scent, great value
As far as the scent goes: it's quite nice: I like it but can't say I love it. For me the scent of Violet flowers predominates early. For me it's more Floral than any of the old-school Masculine colognes I grew up wearing in the 80s. So at first I was finding the scent to be "nice but maybe too feminine for me" but after a few weeks it has grown on me quite a bit. I got it because I thought it might make a good Springtime scent, and I've heard it's a very good Green Irish Tweed clone, so I was curious to see if it's good enough to wear instead of spending $200 or whatever on GIT. I figure I'll get a sample of GIT at some point and compare the two. Some people are mentioning lemon, but I'm definitely not getting the impression of a lemony opening like my bottle of vintage 4711 gives me. Nor am I getting anything like the big neroli opening my sample of Terre d'Hermes Fraiche gave me. According to the ingredients on the box, there's citral, citronellol, and limonene in it, so I assume I should be smelling more citrus scent than I am, but for whatever reason it's not obvious to me. As far as Tres Nuit's comparison to Cool Water, I really don't get that. And I say that as the owner of a bottle of Vintage Cool Water. (Btw, the word Davidoff is written in the same italic font that the words Cool Water are written in on the vintage bottles. Davidoff is written in ALL CAPS on the modern bottles. You can find the vintage bottles on eBay if you hunt around a bit, and they're better than the modern version). I could never confuse Tres Nuit with vintage Cool Water. For starters I don't really notice the Violet in the Cool Water and that's actually the main thing I notice in Tres Nuit. In fact if I hadn't read about the similarities it never would have occurred to me that they are any. For me vintage Cool Water smells like more of a fougere-style "green" scent and more "me" and "masculine" than Tres Nuit does. And frankly I prefer it by quite a bit. But then I'm in my 40s so the culture of my youth that might be why I feel that why. That isn't to say Tres Nuit is a bad scent -- it's not. It's actually quite nice. And I do wear it sometimes. But like all fragrances, it's not for everyone. The initial impression is the projection is decent-to-good. I've noticed some scents don't last too long on my middle-aged skin, which is noticeably drier than it was in my youth, and living in the coastal desert of LA for so long doesn't help. I discovered that some of my fragrances which I had thought had weak longevity (like Varvatos Vintage) actually last a long time on my clothes (overnight or longer). So the next time you think a scent is under-performing, you might want to try spraying it on your shirt and see if you can still smell it there in the morning. If you can, then its longevity is actually fine, and you might want to try applying a moisturizer before spraying on your favorite fragrance, because they last longer on moist skin. Packing/Presentation: I was pleased to see the bottle was weighty and solid (even the cap) Btw, my bottle is indeed blue, but it's such a dark blue that it looks almost black unless there's a strong light on it or better yet shining through it. Packing was good. The back of the bottle says "fragrance made in France" in small print (along with the manufacturing date: 2017 for mine). The leather casing has more writing on the bottom which proclaims it's an EDT. The box it came in says it's 80% alcohol. Blind buys are always a bit of a crapshoot, so if you can try before you buy then that's obviously the smarter choice. But if you can't find any to try, and you can pick this up for just $25-$35 you can't go too far wrong, now can you? If you don't like it and can't return it, just give it away -- if you got this as a gift you would assume this cost at least $50. I got mine for about $25 from Hammad's Bargains, who shipped it quickly and packaged it well.

DELICIOUS CITRUS GREEN STUNNING FRAGRANCE
This Tres de Nuit EDPerfume is so, so good, so refreshing, citrusy, woody, not sweet at all, I don't like sweet vanilla smells, but this is not sweet, it feels like you are in a forest, or smelling green grass or nature, I am so very satisfied with this particular fragrance.

Great Cool Water knock off. Not the best but not the worst.
It smells good. Not much projection which can be good or bad. I spray wrists, chest and neck. Definitely has a Cool Water smell. I can't speak to the Green Irish Tweed smell since I never smelled GIT. Probably better in the Spring and Summer. Hard to beat for the price. I always find it funny when reviews uplift a product to nervana level. I'm more of a "meh" it's okay. I'll def wear it. I have some body washes that pair well with that scent thanks to ChatGPT advice. I like the way it makes me smell and the price was perfect. I only give it 3 stars because it's a "meh" for me. I probably won't buy it again after the bottle is empty. Price to performance is good so it's still a win. It's really a great Cool Water knock off. Love the bottle design. It may grow on me with time.
